Random Thoughts

I couldn't sleep last night and these are a few of the things that came to mind...

1. Why can I only find Skippy chunky peanut butter in small jars?

2. Why does some underwear feel the need to creep up and become a thong?

along the same lines
3. Why is it impolite to remove said underwear and return it to its proper place, while in the midst of other people?

4. On tv shows with MEs, why do they feel the need to work in nearly complete darkenss, never wearing face masks and hair covers? Not to mention that no one seems to notice the stench of the dbs.

Those are just a few of the many random thoughts that ran across my mind at 2 this morning.

I would like to hear what other random thoughts Disers might have!

I live in an all-boy house ..


Why does my son drink all the milk in the bag and then put the empty jug back in the fridge?

Why is it that I find the toilet paper roll on the back of the toilet and not on the roll - it's a slip on-type holder - it's NOT rocket science ...

Why do teenagers always state "there's nothing to eat" and then open and close the fridge door 10 times hoping food will magically appear when the door opens?

Why is it so difficult to get kids to wear sunscreen - just trust me on the sunscreen - you'll thank me one day ...

Why can't I find a job?

Why do my kids never seem to know there are trashcans OUTSIDE for them to dispose of that bag of garbage in the house?

Why does my dog think the couch is a really great place to rest, after "mom" has bought her the best dog beds?

How is it possbile to have a perfectly clean house and you run out for 2 stinking hours and come back to disaster?

Why is it when you decide to not jump right into the shower on a Saturday morning there is so much traffic at your house you wonder if a family member forgot to mention a press conference for said time?!

The only time you are alone in the house is when you hear there is a terror on the loose?

Why is it I can beg, nay, plead with my dog to go potty before I head upstairs to bed and he refuses...until I'm all snuggy warm and comfy under the blankets?

Why is it the farts you try to sneak out without anyone noticing are the smelliest?

Random Thought for today...Why do kids feel the need to smother you with love after they have eaten something messy AND you are all ready for work? There must be a magnet in my clean work clothes that pulls them to me with their dirty faces!

Tara, I think that has something to do with that whole "cute thing" factor. You know cute things are always testing their limits.

"Aren't I so cute that you don't care that you have honey all over your shirt and hair?"
and then the pet version
"Aren't I so cute that you don't care that I placed a hairball in your favorite pair of shoes?"

If they weren't cute, we'd toss 'em

What I want to know is why men are so dang forgetful. Do they really not hear me or do they really forget that often?
