I posted this on the sandwich thread so I'll ask here. Why is it that when you cut your sandwich diagonally, it seems bigger? But when you cut it straight down, it looks short and small? When I cut it diagonally, I feel like I'm eating more than I really am.

Why am I still friends with someone who asks me how things are going, I tell her (and yes, I'm looking for some support and reassurance because I'm insecure about something), and all she emails back is, "So, what do you think of the situation between **** and me?" I've already TOLD you! Take my advice or don't take it, but quit asking! And it would be nice if you supported ME once in a while!

Just because I'm the one that everyone comes to for advice, doesn't mean that I don't occasionally need it, too.

And that's that random thought...
