only b/c of the Dis!![]()
the other 'bonus' so to speak---is DVC members get $100 off of Annual Passes. If you will be at the World more than 8 days in 366 days it is worth it to buy APs. Also AP holders are eligible for DDE (Disney Dining Experience) an alternative to the Disney Dining Plan. In a nut shell DDE works this way: 20% off of most TS meal & some CS meals. DDE does add in an 18% tip, (but most pay that anyway---except buffett.......then I could see MAYBE an issue)....the tax is added in (after the discount) at 6.5% (last I knew)....so all in all you're getting a 2% discount (?confused yet).
Now AP discount is a 'perk' that Disney giveth & Disney may takeith away so again, don't buy based on such things.
We usually go once a year for 2 weeks. This year, because DD just started a job, only DS and I are going for 5 days.
I was told there is a free 5x7 photo too from photo session at Epcot.
(you're not to be thinking such things until after summer
)
' meet n greet w/ the characters-- usually some or all of the fab 5 & you receive a free 5x7 photo.......we didn't do it last yr as the lines were
but if you're not doing character meals it is a nice A/C spot for meet & greets.
The storms came through yesterday and really hit hard,
some places a bit south east of here had some tornado's touch down.
(The nerve!!)lol The winds are still really strong (85 km/hour), so I am not sure if the internet will stay up.
But they are saying that overnight tonight it will all move on and leave a milder but pleasant day!!
Our poor little Chihuahua couldn't go out, because I am scared he would blow away...LOL so he goes just out the door on his leash that I hold, we rigged that up tonight, when he couldn't keep his legs crossed anymore!
