Wait, I'm the Grumpus...

Actually, it's to bring my title into alignment with the work I was alredy doing.

So, it's more $$$, same work, less credit, more blame.

Thanks for the kind words.

Me???
My new phase is I am starting a major diet tomorrow. I say tomorrow because I have been under medical care for the past 4+ years and I had to wait to get my medical approval. While I was sick I couldn't exercise, or be very active at all....add to the fact that they gave me all these medicines that caused "some weight gain". So now I have to get back into my fighting shape.
I have my daughter's wedding in WDW next June and I can't look like I looked at my last daughters wedding!!!!

Congratulations on your new diet and your daughter's WDW wedding! :woohoo:

I'm about 2 weeks in on my new diet/exercise program. I would like to lose 20 lbs. or more by mid-December for health/personal reasons. Even though I really have to push myself to become more conscious of portion sizes, fat and calorie intake, and making sure to get at least 60 minutes of exercise each day, I've already lost 2 lbs. I'm also doing the Jeff Lewis thing by not eating after 7 PM because late night snacking is a huge part of my being overweight.

My goal for next summer is to 1) be able to wear almost anything w/out feeling ugly or fat, 2) be able to walk around on the beach without thinking of Jenny Craig or Queen Latifah every few seconds and, 3) be able to handle heat and humidity better so I'm not camped out in the basement all summer watching TiVo'ed episodes of Will & Grace

Good luck!
~Simon :)

We got teacher postcards in the mail today.

I'm taking tomorrow off to do something with DD before school starts.

Heard back from company about camera and they will be shipping shortly after long weekend. So I should have it before I go to Disney!!!

I leave for Disney in about one month.....I just made hotel reservations, I don't have any ADRs and no clue what we are wearing to MNSSHP on 10/02. Oh yeah and I want to lose 10 lbs. I am so excited

Such the craving for ice cream........

Congratulations The Grumpus....more $$ is always welcome.

I know what you mean, my DD turned 2 in April - she was just a baby yesterday she needs to slow down :)

Other then that, my husband just received PCS orders so now we have to move to Bangor, WA. Coming from SC it's going to be one heck of a drive for us. Not to mention one big change for us as far as climate and time change.

I am more upset we will be so far from Disney then anything, we are use to being 3-6 hours away ;) We moved from Georgia to SC and I thought that was bad!

Bangor, WA is absolutely gorgeous. Just got back from business trip there last week at the Naval Station. Pack your umbrella you might need it. ;)

Me - I push paper for a living for the federal government. Today I moved a pile from one side of my desk to the other. Then the telephones in the entire office stopped working so it was quiet. Looking forward to my Oct. F&W trip to WDW and DVC home Boardwalk.

My oldest is over 3 now and I know what you mean!

You may be farther from WDW now, but you are much closer to DL! You do know that DL is very condusive to quickie weekend trips, don't you!!!! :yay:

Good luck - I understand the big move - I picked up my life and moved from Missouri to Los Angeles in 2000! It's rouch, but you'll do great! It really is very beautiful where you are going and the people are just wonderful!

Take care. Don't get too stressed!

my house might get dimolished in this storm and im not worried one bit....or thats what im telling myself anyway

I have happy news! My son's appointment with the cardiologist was fine. He has an innocent murmur. They wanted to rule out a valve problem or hole in his heart. What a relief

Yay!!!! So glad to hear! Murmurs are definitely "doable" for a kid to have a normal life in today's world. There are less day to day challenges fo that as a childhood disease than having to work around juvenile diabetes, for example. You definitely have someone upstairs looking out for your family!

:scared1: You seem a lot more composed than I would be! Then again . . . I already confess to being neurotic.:rotfl:
