Ya'll know me...
You know how I earn a livin'...

Oh, wrong movie.

Pregnant... DD started kindergarten... Potty training DS... Did I mention I was pregnant?

Your life scares me.:scared1: Well, the potty training part scares me. I'm a pretty good mom, but I got a big, fat "F" on the parenting report card in potty training. None of mine potty trained very easily.

My DD started highschool!:scared1: It seems like just yesterday I was sending her off to Kindergarten.... Where does the time go????:confused3

I will be praying that all goes well.

Oh, please let us know how it goes. :wizard: I am sure it will be OK :goodvibes

great thread but you may have started something you won't like :lmao: DH says I can talk a starving dog off a meat wagon :scared1:

Hmm, well my DGD will be turning 1 in Sept. I managed to weasle in my Disney addiction and she is going to wear a Minnie dress :cutie: and Minnie is the theme!

DD will start HS next week  I am so nervous for her! And for us!!!

I just planned our next mother/daughter trip  :cool1: :cool1: for Thanksgiving week!

I have the long weekend off and plan on enjoyig the last summer weekend with DD and DGD and DH. We take the baby on the weekends and give my son and his gf a break :thumbsup2 we all win!

Busy searching for good rates on a rental and flights. Planning dining and such. FUN!

I just bought a digital camera and accessory kit online. I received only the accessory kit. Waiting to hear back from company (since Saturday) about where the darn camera is.

If you thought that cliques didn't exist as an adult you were wrong. There is a big one at the office now. I am thinking about changing positions at the company so I can get away from the clique. Does software development sound like fun for a new position?

Girl Scouts Leader kickoff meeting is tonight.

What? I thought you would be excited for Saturday's meet! :rotfl:

Good luck with school and your speech. Just speak about the business of Disney and you'll be fine. :wizard:
Well, of course I am excited about the meet! Just need to find time to bake off the cakes...lol

And i'm actually toying with the idea of using Disney in my speech! I'm considering the topic of outsourcing. This speech isn't going to be anything formal...but i'm not one of those who can get up and speak about any random topic for 10-15 minutes off the top of my head! 10-15 minutes...ugh...

Poor, sweet baby.:lovestruc Is it serious?

Not sure yet. My sister and cousin have heart murmurs and I have an aunt with Mitral valve prolapse(when the valve in your heart does not close all the way)

Thank you I appreciate it.

I will and thank you for your thoughts. It means a lot to me to have such nice friends here.

I got my hair cut and highlighted/colored on Saturday and I'm still not in love with the color.

It's Tuesday which is the busiest day in the office (for some reason the phones ring off the hook) and we have one admin on vacation. As the office manager I'm filling in :(

My doggie has a little patch of gnawed skin on her tush-area. I'm not sure why so I'm watching it.

One of my best friends was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer about 2 months ago - he goes for another ct scan (and some "pet" scan) tomorrow to see if the chemo is holding it or (cross your fingers) making it recede. Honestly, that's all we can think about these days. He and his wife have been my best friends for about 11 years now and I just can't imagine this happening to a nicer couple - and he's only 44. ok - enough bad news ... please cross your fingers for some good news! We'll find out the results of the scans next week ... on their anniversary - ugh.

On a up note, I'll be in WDW in 96 days!

My manager booked us for the Disney Keys to Excellence - Indianapolis on Sept 11th. This is like a traveling Disney Institute. I am so excited about this, and I plan to report back with details about the conference. :cool1:

I hope your friend and your doggie are both okay Stacy.

this is an awesome thread btw.

lesse... I am starting a spanish class in a few weeks which I am totally excited about!!! I already know spanish a little but can understand it better than speak it.

annnnnnd... next saturday dh and I are going to a local casino to see Guy (I can't spell his last name.. it's something like Firetti) from the food network do a cooking demonstration. We are super excited about it!

also, dh and I have totally been getting into the showtime show weeds..we have been renting the dvd's and are on the 3rd season now.

I'm getting ready for our Disney trip in less than two weeks! But first we have to go to the Renaissance Festival, get out to The Great Minnesota Get-Together (State Fair is here again!), celebrate two birthdays, get my hair cut and colored and get packed - without forgetting anything!

Very excited about the State Fair. It's HUGE and the food choices are unbelievable. If you are ever in Minnesota the ten days before Labor Day you need to go!

well here on the MD eastern shore.......

there seem to be some management shifts being made and I think might be in the running for a keyholder position!!!(please everyone cross your fingers for me!!!)

And DBF has decided to go GUARD. (Army National Guard) He is signing his papers on wednesday I believe and prolly leaving in january for his 4month training (boot camp, and AIT) he'll hopefully be back in early may!!!
It will most likely be great for him and his future but I am very .... I know it is me just being selfish but I want him to be safe. I just hope his unit doesn't get called!!!!!!!

:cool1: My first born DS who's turning 11 in Dec is starting Jr. High School on Sept. 2nd. We just went for a tour of the school. I hope he likes it!!! His hope is one day to go to Disney College. He loves everything Disney.:cheer2:

I remember going to the Renaissance Festival when I was in high school. I still have the little pewter dragon that I bought while I was there. And, I remember the comedy duo - Puke and Snot. Are they still there? I'm sure they'd be using canes by now, but you never know.

I am. I talk ALOT, and really fast. My youth group leader started this game where he says "Gibson, Random topic..." and then he gives me a random topic to talk about, so far I have been able to talk about everything he has given me. Some of these topics include: Socks, Asparagus, and Arm Pockets (that day he had on a shirt with a pocket on his arm)

True Story!

That is so cool!!! Dh and I love watching him on Food Network.
