Ranch Dressing: A Poll

Am I the only person on the planet who thinks ranch dressing is possibly the most disgusting food stuff ever? There's got to be someone else out there, doesn't there?

I hate Ranch too. But I'm not really a fan of any salad dressing out of a bottle. I like to make my own from oil and vinegar and herbs. However, I LOVE a good blue cheese dressing but can't find a good bootled one available IMO.

There is no food that isn't tastier with Ranch dressing on it If I could (and I can't), I would dip everything in Ranch dressing - the real stuff, mind you.

I love it!

I not only like it on salads, but also on sliced cucumbers, chicken, french fries, onion rings, the crust of pizza, breadsticks, raw vegetables, etc.

I didn't vote because my answer would be 'other'. I love ranch dressing but ONLY if it the kind you make fresh with milk and mayo and the seasoning packet. If it is the bottled kind I agree with you that it is DISGUSTING!

I'm right there with you. It does taste like sour milk. Other than bleu cheese (and it has to be GOOD real stuff, not most of the "chunky ranch" they serve in many chain restaurants), I really don't like creamy dressings. Blecch.

I like Ranch dressing OK, I prefer a good bleu cheese, though. Unfortunately, the vast majority of bottled bleu cheese is not very good.
