Rakuten Cashback Expedia

Just signed up rakuten and clicked on expedia and bought my park tickets. Got cashback...atleast i can save someplace even if it is not big..

I love Rakuten!! We did a 3 week trip to Europe two years ago and got so much money back from Expedia bookings.
I always try and book our trips this way now, softens the blow of credit card bills when we get back

When did you get the cashback in your account? Was it soon after you purchased the tickets or after travel?

Since the tickets r non refundable, I got it instantly

Huh, I bought my tickets over a week ago and it’s telling me cash back will be credited after travel. I wonder why the difference??

Yes, I was told that it can take up to 3 months after travel, no matter what the travel is (including non-refundable tickets). I also just realized this is a Canadian board (I had just searched Rakuten and Expedia to find the thread), so maybe it's different from the Canadian site vs US site. Not sure.
