Rainforest Cafe ??

I'm very confused...is the Rainforest Cafe (either of them) on the dining plan or not? I seem to find conflicting info. Either way, am I able to make an ADR for it? We will cross it off our list if we have to plan on LONG waits to be seated.

I am not sure if it is on the Dining Plan, I don't think so. You can't make an ADR thru Disney for it BUT you can call the restaurant directly and make a Priority Seating. That's what we did in March.

I don't think RFC is on the dining plan, but it IS on the plan for the Premium and Platinum package, which is probably why the info conflicts. The RFC at AK does take ADR's - made ours through Disney dining. I don't know if the one at DD accepts them.

You can also buy the Safari Club card at the restaurant. We bought it a few years ago for $10, I think it is $15 now. When you show your card at the podium you get seated at the next available time, & you get either 10% off your meal or a free appetizer. So you basically get your money back after two meals. The only catch is you have to use it at least once a year, or it will expire. You can use it at any Landry's restaurant, which includes Joes Crab Shack, Landrys Seafood or any Rainforest. Not sure i there are others.
