Rain???

So...I'm supposed to do Animal Kingdom next Saturday (Feb 11th) and the forecast says it *might* rain. Now, I know longterm forecasts can be pretty unreliable, but I'm still worried. I got the base ticket, but how much fun would it be when it's raining?? I've read some posts on here saying the animals come out in the rain...I mean a little rain won't kill me, but still...

It is still fun in the rain. You can't let rain stop you from enjoying your day because you never know what the weather is going to do. Less crowds, the animals are usually more active because it's cooler and if you planned a trip, what can you do? Put on that poncho and have a great time!

Rain at AK isn't that bad. We have done it before and just put on a raincoat and had fun. Ride Kali River Rapids a couple of times and you won't even feel your clothes getting wet by the rain.

There's always a chance of rain at Disney World. I think they just put that in the forecast to cover their behinds.

A few years ago, we did Animal Kingdom on New Year's Eve day and it was raining so hard, it was coming in sideways. Honestly. That was THE best time we've ever had. But usually, it's just some clouds and light rain and then it's over. I would not let any of the forecast get in the way of your planning.
