Thank you. I of course am a little (lot) partial. I am almost done with your report. Wish I could have been there with you. I love CSR but they didn't treat us quite like they treated you. It pays to go more than once in a lifetime.

Good goobilee goo! I have missed a whole lotta chatter!

First off, Happy Anniversary Danielle! Love the pictures you posted.

Ginny, Austin's pictures turned out really good. I love all of them. Did he get the one with him leaning against the old truck? That was one of my favorites. But, then I'm a country kinda gal.

As I sit here at my desk, I hear it thundering. They are predicting 60 mile an hour winds, hail and we have a flood watch. Sick of rain!

great choices on Austin's photos!
I need to go read another TR it sounds like!

Lisa! I hope it is not as bad as all that with the weather!!
be careful in all of that!!! I can remember Oct rain but not this much!

We did get the one with the truck too. These are the wallets Sheri picked so the lady put them on facebook last night.

It rained all night here and is supposed to today too.

Have a good day. Ii am going to go get ready for work now. Not by choice.

Aw, Danielle! Thanks for posting those pics. They make me want to be there RIGHT NOW. I'll bet you are wishing you are there RIGHT NOW, too! I hope you get to feeling better soon. I remember those pregnancy days. Quite uncomfortable in the end, but when you hold that baby for the first time, all of this will just disappear, never to be remembered again. Hang in there, not too much longer now.

Ginny: I love Austin's pictures. He's such a handsome young fellow. My favorite is the first one, but I'm with Lisa - love those truck pictures, too!

We're getting a cold front coming in, too. Looks like the high is only gonna be 58 on Saturday for my yard sale. Do you think it will be too cold for people to get out? I may need to cancel it.

Okay, Ginny. I'm caught up. I think.

Went and checked out Allan's report. Another one for me to get behind on.

Happy Anniversary to Danielle! I too wish I could be in Disney RIGHT NOW.

I just have to say WOW to Austin's pics. He cleans up good. ;)

It has been raining here all morning, but I *think* it is supposed to finally clear out some after today. SOOOOOO very tired of the rain! As I'm sure you all are too.

Still having some doggy troubles (you guys remember when I posted about that on my PTR). She might have to have surgery. There's something in her tummy and it could be anything from puzzle pieces to the big "C". Had a couple days of crying. Still not sure what we're going to do...Plus I've been working some (though only one day this week-a school just called to see if I'd do a half day today and I just can't make myself get Matt to drive me all the way over there and then have to come get me after he gets the boys. We need the money, but oh well, right?). Anyway, just wanted you guys to know why I'm only SLOWLY getting to TRs and I haven't added to mine yet. I'm HOPING to get the next part up tonight. Which means I probably won't. Because I actually typed that I wanted to. We'll see.

Hope you are all having a good Thursday. At least tomorrow is Friday, right?

I'm sorry about your puppy dog. That is hard to deal with.

I'm not sure I would have gone for 1/2 day either. You have to consider if it is worth it to drive there and back for such a short time.

Hope you have a good day and keep us posted on the doggy situation

I have put this off for as long as I can. It is a day I didn't want to come. I must finish my report. I know once it is written it is really over. I've enjoyed reliving every moment here and do not want it to end so.

Here goes:

The planning of this trip started in Jan 2009. The dates and bookings were made by March. We were to leave May 23 and return May 30, 2009. Our resort of choice was CSR.

We were surprising my older daughter Sandi for her 40th birthday. And Sheri's husband Mike's 60th birthday.

It was also Sandi's husband Tim and son Alex's first trip.

Also attending this party was myself, Ginny-my DH, Don-Daughter Sheri (Mickey Mouse has been her boyfriend since she was 3 and she tolerates Minnie if she does not get too close) and their two boys Austin and Andrew.

.

Three days before we left I managed to fall in my own driveway flat on my face and bruise the right side of my face and get a black eye. I am very accident prone. We left our airport just fine after having to re-arrange all the luggage so we would not be over the 50 pd. limit. I had taken my Cpap as a carry on and Don gave it to the clerk to check. I managed to get it all back together for use at Disney.

The surprises went off without a hitch. We had to keep secrets for a long time but it was so well worth it.

Our first day at Disney was the 23rd. We didn't actually get to the park till almost 11:00 pm. Spectro was just finishing but we couldn't be bothered. We had POC to ride. We are all going except Mike. He felt too tired. It had been a long day but there was no way my girls and I were going to be on Disney property and not go to the Magic Kingdom.

We managed POC and HM before closing. :yay:

It rained all afternoon on that first day but by the time we got to MK it had quit for the evening. We were thrilled.

Day 2: We all return to MK at a reasonable time. It is raining. We ride lots of rides. Eat lunch at Pecos Bills so we can get out of the rain. Ride lots more rides. We have dinner reservations at Chef Mickey's at 5:15.

We did not get any photopass pics at the MK and Sheri and I were brokenhearted. It's like you go a long way to see something special to you and you don't have a picture for memories.

We get to CM in plenty of time for our ressies and wait for our table. I must say the food was ok nothing great but the atmosphere more than made up for any food we ate.

It started raining while we were eating. Remember this was early in the evening. It got as dark as 9:00 pm. The thunder and lightning rolled in. We decided to wait it out and see if we could go back to MK before closing.

We had lots of time to kill so my family tries on hats.

This would be grumpy:

I so don't know how to be serious.

This is Sheri having her puppet show telling everyone what a grumpy one I was being and I caught her in the act.

Around 9 the rain did stop and we get to back to MK and ride more rides.

I made them ride IASMW and COP just because I was the grandma and I was in charge.

The final ride of the night was teacups. When it was over Wishes had just started. We had a perfect location to watch.

As we were leaving for the night it started raining lightly.

When we returned to CSR we had a long conversation regarding the day. Since it was Tim's and Alex's first visit we got their opinion first.

Tim said it was nothing like he expected and he had been to Universal just a year before. He was very pleased with the themeing and the character interaction. Alex loved it all. His biggest fear when he came was there would be not enough for him to do and would he have time to go to Universal? He decided that night he didn't need Universal he loved MK and Mickey Mouse.

Mike said it was the perfect birthday. Sandi said it was way better than she expected because we were all together.

Austin and Andrew said they had a great day and was ready for more and Don said he too had a good time.

I stated I had a wonderful day but I brought my CP and forgot the cord so I carted it for nothing and I had managed to get a blister on the bottom of each foot that covered about a 2 inch square. It hurt really bad and I didn't say a word to anyone about it all day. No one is going to acuse me of being a Grumpy.

Sleep finally came around 1:00 am. to get set for our day at AK.

the hard way...I'm sure there is an easier way but I go to the thread and copy the url from search bar (whatever its called) than paste it in the post...
