Rain, Surprise Birthdays, Rain, First Visits -(Ginny is deceased-Prayers for her.)

no i didnt take the ACT's. because mainly here they look at SAT or ACT. but i took the SAT in june it was ok not fantasic. im going to take it again soon.

I think Austin chose ACT over SAT because the high score needed for SAT sounded like it was harder to do. Silly boy. Good luck on the retake. It is so frustrating what you have to go thru to go to school.

Ginny, I promise to go back and read where I left off, but I wanted to quickly say Happy Birthday to Alex before it got to far away from his birthday. So

:bday: :cake: ALEX!!!

Thank you Heather. I will be sure and tell him when I see him in a little over a week.

SAT's are pretty easy at least to me i had more reading sections then i did math. which was good on my part since im horrible in math as it is. the tests arent cheap tho. LOL. thats why i got a free waiver at school. thank goodness.

today was mom's bday and i cooked dinner for her it was nice i made shrimp with yellow rice. lol it turned out pretty dang good if i say so myself. now i just got to get to wrapping her present and making her a bday card.

What a sweetheart you are fixing dinner for your mom. Happy birthday to her. She has raised a very nice young lady.

Aust should have done Sats too. His math is not great but he can write up a storm. His mom has paid $45 twice and when he does it with the written it will be $75. He needs a job:rotfl:

Take care of of yourself and keep us posted.

yeah, just finished making her card and wrapping the gift. she is out at the store lol i she i had time.

that is alot of money. mom paid about $45 for me to take the SATs. and mom told me to get a job. but just saying if he gets like free or reduced lunch he can get a free waiver for the SAT's and i believe the ACT's.
i cant believe how much money SR year is. and i havent even started applying for colleges yet and thats another good $30-$35 right there. and whats sad is that ive been applying for jobs and jobs and no one is hiring.

It is that way here too about jobs. Sheri is not making him work because of sports and school. He works at her company in the summer. Yes, she had to order cap and gown, announcements and Sr. picx last week. A total of almost 1000.00 bucks. I told her I would help out. There is still so much to do before the end of the year.

The only college ap he had to pay for was Univ of Mo in Columbia. His counselor got free ones from the other schools. The school gets so many free ones a year so she saved the ones he wanted. She really likes him and it is very helpful

:faint: WHOA...I missed so much being away!!! I'm almost caught up, but not 100%. I just wanted to drop in to say hi!

Okay...I've started the report, but will have to finish when I get home...I have a LOT of pages to go. I didn't realize that you had stayed at the CSR (as you know, our home away from home). Back later to add more comments on your TR. Love the pics of the family (are you aware a lot of your pics at the beginning are not there?).

Austin didn't want the shirt. He said the color was ugly. No doubt some girls picked it out. He is such a diva.

I love Aladdin. Austin went thru spells on books. He loved Pinochio best(sp)

 that is a lot of money. we don't order caps and gowns til near the end of the year. and im afraid to see what that's going to cost. then i want to go to grad bash which is another $70-$75 right there. honestly by the end of the year we are going to spend a zillion of dollars.

oh thats not bad that he only had to pay for one application at least thats a money saver right there. :goodvibes i do know some schools do have this form or paper you can get from the counselor thats a fee waiver. but my luck only one school is actually accepting it. :sad2:

today the sophomores had PSAT's and our 1st two period were 100mins each and on odd days (which is today) i have drafting for block one and block two. so for forever it felt like i was sitting on AutoCAD and of course it is giving us problems. probably because we updated to the 2010 version. it felt like a long, long day.

Finally got my home computer fixed so I can go back to your report. I'll go slow since you are only up to Page 9. Maybe I better go check my own report first and be sure my pictures are still there. :scared1:

Take your time. I have gone thru page 25. What a chore.

Hi girls! How is everyone? I'm doing ok. Haven't been feeling my best, but it could be worse! My stomach has been giving me issues the past couple days. Of course, there's the never ending indigestion! :scared1: Just haven't been in the best of moods lately! :confused3 Hormones? That is what I will blame it on!! The weather isn't making it any better! We had to put the heat on today!!! It's pretty cold here! It should really be in the 60s, well, it's in the 40's!!!! Brrrr!!! And starting tomorrow till Sunday it's going to rain, rain, rain and be in the 40s!!! We are being attacked by not one, but two Noreasters!!!! :scared1: Rain, cold, and very high winds!!! Not fun! And this weekend is our 1 year anniversary!!! This time last year the weather was great! Plus, we were in Disney World on our Honeymoon!!!! So, in honor of the great weather in Disney & our Anniversary, I will post a few pics from our honeymoon!!!! Enjoy! :bride:

Well, I'm up to about page 48 and so loving your report. I don't know how I missed it earlier. I checked my trip report (which is no where near as long as yours and Lisa's) and my ics are fine. I'm going to check a couple of other subscribed threads and then hit the bed...very tired...think I'm coming down with something. Have a nice night.
