Never been to Florida or the US for that matter... so I'm just wondering if I need to worry about Rain in December ??
I keep reading about these 10min down pores in the Summer ... but what about 1st week of December ??

Hi Claudia,

December is a fairly dry month on average. Rainfall averages about 2.3 inches for the month. You will not find the torrential summer-type one hour rains in December, but you could get a regular rainy day.

You could also get temperatures near freezing in the morning or very warm during the day. you'll need to pack for both kinds of weather.

We were there 12/4 to 12/11 last year and it was beautiful! 80 degrees everyday with one afternoon having a ten minute downpour, but that was it!! The day we left it cooled down to high 60's, low 70's and was cloudy and looked like rain, but we were leaving, it fit our mood!!

I have been going to Disney either the first week of December or the sceond week of December for the past 8 years. For the most part we have had beautiful weather. Cool morning and evenings but mid 70's during the day. Don't get me wrong two years ago we went second week and it RAINED inches four of the five days we were there. So we looked like mouse ducks walking around everywhere. Rain didn't stop us!!! Check the extended forcast a week before you go it should give you a general idea of how to pack. Considering the time of year you need both seasons..raincoast are always possible. My girls love buying the mouse raincoast. We take them year after year.
