Rain for the Next Week

I just got pink eye over the weekend and we leave this Friday....I hope it gets better and my wife and 2 boys dont get it....I didnt realize Pink eye was so painful.....it stings and feels like a bucket of sand is in you eye.....I just want to claw it out....it feels a little better today....I guess the doctors medicine is kicking in....I hope so

I'm not too worried as it's been cold and frosty here in England and in Manchester where I live it rains all the time anyway! The warm temperatures will more than make up for a little rain.

We are heading down next week, too, and will be prepared with ponchos and some warm weather gear "just in case" Two years ago we were there at the same time and it POURED buckets and a lot of the MVMCP activites were cancelled on Thursday night. I can't ever remember so much rain in December like I did see in 02. LAst year it was pleasant but a tad cool. Maybe the third time is the charm!

I'm just happy it's going to be warmer than 34 degrees! Rain won't bother me, I do live in Oregon. This is going to be my first trip to WDW, so I'm just excited to be going and to be getting out of this freezing cold weather.

i'm sorry all; we had snow last week; rain this next week just doesn't fit into our plans at all so i guess we will just have to cancel..
the rain i mean...
we (the 2 grand brats and i) will be there the 4th thru the 8th and i just got on to the southwest airlines site; i'm really regretting only 3 full days down there and not happy with myself at all.... i know that more days would have just been more money but for cryin out loud; i'm gonna die owing money, why couldn't it have been that i owed the mouse a little more??

what does everyone think?? what would be the best thing to do after 6pm on saturday (which is when we'll be there from 35 degrees ol omaha, nebraska?) see y'all there... femail

We are doing Chef Mickey's for dinner then a carriage ride at POR....no park that day...sleigh ride was sold out at the Wilderness lodge

Ohhh...if it does rain it'll probably be for just a while (hopefully like July and August, monsoon season). Did not even think about digging out the yello Mickey poncho!! ALways brought home extra to have a new one handy in case of an unexpected trip - now that I've read ponchos are no longer yellow I'd better save the ones I have! How could they change from the yellow?? It was so distinct and so Disney!!! I digress....

You know - I was down at WDW during Hurricane Jeanne...we were stuck in our room for a full day.

60% chance of showers is NOTHING after you deal with a hurricane! At least the parks will be open!

I was there during Hurricane Jeanne too, locked in AKL and I do have to say, the bit of rain due this week is MUCH better than that. I can't see us being on lock-down again
I'm just glad Monday seems to slowly be clearing up. If it rains, we have to move our wedding indoors, so please everyone out there, pixie dust and fingers crossed!!!
