Will be at US and WDW 12/4 through 12/11. Forecast doesn't look very promising; other than does appear warm. Any Floridians, or anyone else, care to give their .2 cents about the upcoming rain?
Were going 12/4-12/12 also, Ive been wondering about the forcast too, but I wont panic yet! Florida it always rains sometimes for just an hour a day and then thats it. Not worrying yet!

I'm going 12/5-12/11 too and I've been watching the weather....depending on which website you look at it, it doesn't look too bad! I choose to only look at the websites with the GOOD forecasts! Weather.com has a decent looking 10 day forecast right now.
Also I thought it didn't rain much in Orlando in December?! I checked average rainfalls and it said July is much wetter than December! What's up with that?
When its almost 80 degrees I think showers happen, but usually pass. Last year, both sites said rain all week that I went, it was clear and beautiful for all except like 10 minutes one day that it got pretty hot pretty fast.
I think it will be fine. The forecasts will change 50 more times before we get there anyways.
You know - I was down at WDW during Hurricane Jeanne...we were stuck in our room for a full day.
60% chance of showers is NOTHING after you deal with a hurricane! At least the parks will be open!
besides - I just looked at weather.com again - rain ONLY on saturday now...it's like New England - dont' like the weather? wait 5 minutes - it'll change.
Right now here in N. IL, it is 33 degrees and it is snowing. So as long as it is warmer in Orlando next week while we are there I will be one happy camper.
Actually this will be our 3rd trip down this time of year and the weather looks to be the best we've ever experienced! But keep in mind it can all change on a dime.
Unless you have the power to change the weather, I wouldn't worry about it, if it rains it rains and if it's sunny and warm, all the better. Sure beats the weather here in Chicago!
Well, as a native Floridian, (30 years as of the 20th!) I can say one thing about our weather...it is constantly changing!!! It is unusual to have lots of rain in December but the temps can be all over the place...so you never know!
Just think - you are on vacation at WDW and that is better than being anywhere, even in a little thunderstorm!
I was also looking at the weather at weather .com for next week...it will be alot warmer than the last 3 years....last year was fairly cold for us....high in the low 60's lows in the low 40's I think it was close to a frost a couple of nights cause they were talking about the oranges and all....I want to swim this year so those high 70's and low to mid 80's look good....As for sat we dont have a day planned at the parks just chef mickeys and a carriage ride...3rd thru 12 at all star movies see ya soon
Today it is rainy, windy and cold here in NY....I KNOW the weather next week in FL will be better than that...I will be at the happiest place on earth (12/7-10) with my mom (who spent our last trip at Disney sick in bed), my sister (and best friend) and my 3 year old niece (who believes she IS a princess- does not dress in anything but blue 'windawella' dresses!) That is all the sunshine i need! Anything else will be a bonus! Enjoy everyone!
