Has anyone stayed at the Radison resort Orlando-Celebration in Kissimmee. My DH and I have ressies for December. Was wondering if this a nice hotel. I don't mind losing my deposit for some place better. Any info would be appreciated.

I think you'll be fine. I live near it and can provide other suggestions but I'd need to know a bit more of what you're looking for.

we stayed there in july and loved it, don't be put off by tripadvisor's reviews, every hotel has it's share of bad reviews, this hotel was excellent

Hello,

I stayed there with my Daughter(14) In January for 2 nights. It's average at best. I think it is a little overrated. If you get a good deal it might be worth it, depends on what you are looking for in your hotel accomadations. My daughter disliked it, she is a Disney fanatic.

Thanks for the info!:thanks: I too am a "Disney fanatic" but my Dh, not so much;). All we really need is a clean, comfortable room as we (I) plan on spending most of our time in the parks.

I stayed there in July 07, with my sister and 10 year old nephew. We enjoyed the resort. The room was clean. The breakfast buffet is good. However, don't eat any other meals at Mandolins. They are very expensive and the food is nasty. The resort was clean and the staff was friendly. The only real problem we had was the night they had a wedding reception. Basically we were not allowed in certain areas. I also enjoyed staying on 192, there is a lot there. Check out the big store shaped like an orange, it has all kinds of neat gifts and things. We are going back there this year.

Thanks for the heads up on the store. This will give DH and me something to do our first afternoon. (That's what I need to do, spend more money.)
