Radio Disney Booth Closes End of May!! :(

Run..don't walk...to see the friends at Radio Disney. The booth at MGM closes at the end of May, and I for one am EXTREMELY disappointed!!! I will miss stopping by in the middle of the day to see B.B. Good. Sad to see them go.

We are not going soon enough to tell them goodbye. But if you are going in May, make sure you stop by to tell them how much we will miss them.

Oh no! They moved it up. It was supposed to close in September. I wonder why they changed it.

Radio Disney is not going away. Just the booth at MGM Studios. THe booth is where BB Good broadcasts her show, "Playhouse Disney" in the afternoons. It is also a set up for visiting Radio Stations to broadcast from WDW/MGM. It is very sad to see them close the show. But Radio Disney will continue to broadcast from their home here in Dallas.

They just had a feature article on BB Good and the station in the recent Disney magazine and didn't mention them leaving. Infact, BB Good says everyone should stop by and maybe get on the radio.
This was one of my kids favorite things to do in the parks.

I know...they just featured them on the Cast Member network as well...but say goodbye. They leave the end of next week. AND...they aren't allowed to talk about it on the radio yet.

Note: BB is still going to be on the air...just from Dallas.

The whole thing sucks if you ask me!!!

this really sucks!! Every year my kids and i go to say hi to BB. The last couple of times she did indeed remember us coming by in Sept. of every year. My kids will be really disappointed

Yeah, I am heartbroken. They can't really tell anyone yet, so I wanted to post it here with hopes that in these last weeks they will get a ton of support and love from people at the parks! It will be terrible to go to MGM and not have them be there. I know they werent a HUGE attraction, but they were definitely a stop on our agenda every single time! My DD loved getting to see the show and hear it at the same time. It really helped her understand how the whole thing worked! BBBOOOHHHOOOO!!!!

Seeing BB was one of our neat highlights on our trip last October.
DS11 actually won a Radio Disney contest from Susan Huber while in the car driving to the airport to fly to WDW (it was about 5:30am CST). Susan thought it was so cool when DS told her what we were doing. Later that very same day we were able to stop by and say hi to BB at MGM and tell her about winning early in the day.
