I have returned from not being on the computer because of homework!

I finally got my English homework and Science homeowrk from last night all under control...

I have an odd question for you. Today in a science lab we were doing a lab with hot water. Nothing else besides water and a thermometer. We had to wear goggles. This puzzled me, how it water supposed to hurt your eyes?
