Oh my goodness.............I go to Wdw for a week..A VERY deserved vacation, I come back, and I struggle in math, I worked my tail off for a 92..and that's not good enough for me. I have a horrible math background, and then I found out just now that I moved math teachers and it's the 'slow' class! I have a 92..got Advanced on the yearly tests...etc.. I know how to do the stuff, but when the tests come..I flunk... =[[[ This isn't fair. I've had A's all my life.... How am I in that class...I'm so confused!

What kind of math do you have? I have geometry and the same thing happens to me...

Thanks guys. Its Pre-Algebra... I got a 98 on my last test....I was on the phone with one of my friends (who is good at math BTW) and she was moved too. She said that you listen to your iPod and you don't learn anything, she said everyone get's an easy A in her class. Then that means I wonb't be reccomended for Algebra 1 if I don't know the stuff!

For Math you really can't actually study. It's either you know it, or you don't know it. I've always been bad at Math. No way I'll go up one. I've never seen anyone gone down a level though.

You just got to remember equations and basic math, then you get pretty good at it

Obviously it happens....the weird thing is though, is that its based on your test scores, that you get, and you take the test 3 or o times a year. Last time I scored in what was the medium high area...and thats what I found out was what the class was based on. =/

Same thing for me. I mean for alegbra 1 I learned it all by myself because I couldnt understand my teaher. Now, for geometry I dont understand anything. And since I live far away from everyone else I just cant easily ask for one of my friends help after school.

Same. =[ I'm wondering if I should stay in this new teachers class..and see if I can get caught up...but its killing me knowing that I'm in that class.. There is NOTHING wrong with it, or the kids that are in it, but it's just a big step for me. =[

I think you shoud move. Right now in my class I love my teacher and the kids there but it was really just a huge step I took when I went from alegebra 1 to geometry.

I should have listened to the guidance counselors and went to take alegebra 1 again instead of geometry. I mean I understand the information but when the tests come around I kinda freeze up and the teachers questions are like, "didnt we even go over this?"

Same. I KNOW the stuff..my parents can ask me the same question that was on the test, and I will get it right-no problem, but on the test I would have gotten it wrong... =////

Exactly. You couldn't have said it better. I mean I dont get whats wrong with me, I feel like I've gotten stupider because I'm in that class...I mean I know the information. I know it! =/
