The video was directed by Limp Bizkit singer Fred Durst (who appears momentarily at 4:31 in the video). It begins as a continuation of the famous video for Freak on a Leash, starting with the closing animation for it. The video shows a young woman clearly distraught by an abuser (her father) and her eventually leaving the house in the middle of the night, with cut-aways to Korn performing in a room full of hanging light bulbs. Aired November 29, 1999.

Korn performed a memorable "Falling Away from Me" at their Unplugged featuring hand bells, along with a glass harmonica instrument. The end of the song features backing vocals for the show Kalen Chase and Jonathan Davis singing a duo of the lyrics "beating me down" and "falling away from me".

Jonathan Davis comments on meaning

“ The song is about domestic abuse and that there are ways to get help whether it's telling someone or calling a help line, there are ways to get out of those situations. No one has to be treated like that. ”

"Shoots and Ladders" is the second single by American nu-metal band Korn. It appears on their self-titled debut album.

The title is a mockery of American children game Chutes and Ladders (In the United Kingdom called Snakes and Ladders), with the songs lyrics mostly consist of nursery rhymes. It's the first Korn song that featured bagpipes.

In some live performances, it is followed by a short version of the cover of "One" by Metallica.

The song uses in its lyrics:

Ring Around the Rosie
One, Two, Buckle My Shoe
London Bridge is Falling Down
This Old Man
Mary Had a Little Lamb
Baa, Baa, Black Sheep
Jimmy Crack Corn

Jonathan Davis comments on meaning

“ It was written because all these little kids sing these nursery rhymes and they don't know what they originally meant. Everyone is so happy when singing 'Ring Around the Rosies' but it is about the Black Plague. All of them have these evil stories behind them." "The lyrics are all from nursery rhymes, and a lot of nursery rhymes go back to the Middle Ages. They're actually pretty twisted if you know the stories behind them, like about Black Death and stuff. ”

Like Blind (but with a lot more things to it), the Shoots and Ladders music video showed clips of Korn performing in front of an energetic crowd. Korn is also seen performing in front of fake castle-like buildings. Munky can be seen with duct tape over his mouth coming out of a field of weeds and Jonathan (in the beginning) can be seen tied up. Other unknown people (who are believed to be friends of the band) appear in various clips as well. The music video shows a very brief part of the bagpipe intro. The video aired on October, 1995.

"Evolution" is the first single from Korn's untitled album. The track does not feature original drummer David Silveria, nor does it include session drummer Terry Bozzio. Instead, Brooks Wackerman performed drumming duties.

Described by Jonathan as "addressing global climate issues." Jonathan said, "It's not political Al Gore ****. I'm just wondering, are my kids' kids going to have a place to live?".

The music video was directed by decorated video director Dave Meyers who has filmed the band's previous videos ("Did My Time" and "Twisted Transistor"). The video features Korn's fill-in drummer Joey Jordison (Slipknot, Murderdolls). The video discusses the topic of human devolution.

The video was first shown to Canadian fans on Much MOD, on July 23, 2007. During that time, Korn was present in the Much Headquarters, in Toronto, a day before their Family Values 2007 Toronto concert. The video depicts the resemblance between humans and chimpanzees, and shows the band performing the single in a dark red environment which is later shown to be a chimpanzee's brain. On the same day, the video was released to MTV2 and others.
