Racist,ignorant, or misunderstood? O'Reilly remarks

Disagree!! I think a number of people reading through the posts on this board would be quite moved to start responding to some of the ideas expressed here. Just because someone is new, doesn't mean that they are hiding behind another identity. I can't help but wonder if you would be making the same accusations if the new poster's ideas were more in line with your own.

You can stop wondering. I've recognized folks from the left side of the aisle also. Being here over six years helps fine tune a person's newbie radar.

The truth is we don't hide. We didn't hide when we were called "terrorist sympathizers" because we questioned Bush's motive in invading Iraq. We didn't hide when people were accusing us of wanting to see soldiers in body bags because it would make Bush look bad. We didn't hide when people called us traitors for not supporting the "war president".

We don't hide because we don't have to hide. The truth has won out. We were right from the beginning and those on the other side were wrong about everything. How many have gone over to the the Planet Bush side in the last 5 years? The majority of the country are now on OUR side.

So what if he/she is under a psuedo name? He/She wouldnt be the first. With the way some people are attacked by people under pseudo names, I dont see what the problem is that you have with it.

To add to this...this thread never was civil....but isn't that what debates are about. One person not agreeing with the other and each trying to have the other see his/her way.

There was some name calling in a round about way but everyone seemed to be carefull enough so the Mods did not come in and shut it down.

I stopped posting in this thread because well frankly there was no winning the war or the battle. It became a dead issue of he said she said.

I love debating and was on the debate team in college many moons ago. Sometimes we need to just sit back and listen,not nessesarily agree, but listen and there was none of that in here.

I like Bill and watch him all the time, do I always agree with him...no...do I always agree with other news ccommentaters...no.... I am far from a biggot (can't even spell it) and racist and listen to all commentaters ideas. Not always agreeing but listening. Remember to grow we need to listen and not always talk.

this thread has been about "I know he said that, so your a racist" I know he didn't say that, and no I'm not" . One thing I learned in Debate class was that after a ahile you need to agree to disagree and move on. Shaking hands and saying thanks for the debate that was fun and move on to another debate.

There is a difference between debating and arguing....

Well, that's kinda the point. If someone wants to attack me, I don't care, but have the courage to use your real name while you're doing it. The only time I think it's okay is if you have a real serious problem and you don't want the community to know. Then I can see it. If you create a new name just to post the same nonsense you always post, I don't see the point. It's stupid.
