But of course they are biased towards liberal and see things from that point of view.

OK, how was he misunderstood. Here's the most important part of the quote:If you go back and listen to the whole broadcast, It shows how he was misunderstood.
If There was a right wing Media Matters, Would you believe what they put out. Answer Honestly.
Btw, I read the whole transcript. It doesn't change one damned bit what O'Reilly said.
On paper, he's saying he was surprised that black people could behave themselves and act like other people. What was in the inflections that changes that?It sounds different than it reads when you include the inflections from their voices.
Exactly..... But I must say, I'm surprised. I haven't seen so many attempts to spin and deflect in a long time. It's almost as though O'Reilly was part of the administration. I wasn't aware Bill belonged to the "beloved and defended to the death" club like Limbaugh. I was under the impression he had been downgraded to a kind of Pat Robertson lite. Guess not. Live and learn.

Just look at their (mediamatters) mission statemtent. A little left leaning wouldn't you say. As I posted. Does Media Matters post full transcripts or for their benefit take snippets that they want to make their point. Why do they have "..." in their transcripts. What was that a Commercial Break. Half of their misinformation issues are for what people failed to ask. If it was a outlet that was watching all media I would think it to be more believable. But hey I am a free thinker who can make my own opinions. Like I said I went over the whole broadcast. Did You? Didn't have to get my information from the Left Leaning outlet you did. Hey next time on the plane, read the whole transcript and form your own opinion. I'll be watching tonight with Jessie Jackson, will you. I will always be happy to be a free thinker rather than have someone do it for me, like you
Or it could be just differences of opinion. No, that would be too simple. It has to be something much more than that. Oy...
Sure. I perceived O'Reilly's statement as saying that he's shocked to learn that black people can behave in a civilized manner in a restaurant. If there's another way of perceiving his statements, let's hear it.Isn't it still a matter of perception and personal opinion?

Nice try.OK, how was he misunderstood. Here's the most important part of the quote:
"I couldn't get over the fact that there was no difference between Sylvia's restaurant and any other restaurant in New York City. I mean, it was exactly the same, even though it's run by blacks, primarily black patronship."
What exactly did O'Reilly say in the rest of the show that changes the meaning of that passage?

And I'll ask again - what else is in the conversation that changes what he's saying there. If he isn't saying he's shocked that black people can behave civilized, what is he saying?Because that's only *part* of the whole converstation. It's easy to imply that it's racist or ignorant.
