LOL TRUE!It's always a good time around here. Well, except for when it isn't.![]()
Oh I saw it... I just didn't want to ruin the suspense for anyone else.Did you not see my post on Facebook about it or are you just pretending you don't remember to make it more exciting?![]()
I knew when the first drop was going to happen. And I'm sure I screamed. But, I loved it!Once I felt the seat belt catch me, I was fine. It's a very different feel than when you're on a rollercoaster and dropping. I didn't get those funny feelings in my tummy. I believe I even put my arms up in the air on the second drop.
Now that I was a ToT convert, we tried to red neck our photo. The pictures came out dark on my camera and Melissa's were blurry. Maybe Melissa can post one of them here if she didn't delete them. I'm in the pink shirt.
I didn't get any with Joe and Augie at this time, but we would meet up again over the weekend.
We got to the front and this time we scored the front row. I loved it even more! At one point, there was a tiny drop and I remember saying, "Come on! I want a big drop! All the way down!"
So much fun! I'm very glad I finally made myself try it out and next time I will take Sully on it. I think he'll love it.
I edited my post to add the replies to the cliffhanger. lol
Wow! I can't believe i found your report! I am in exactly the same position you were last year! I turn 36 in march, am 40 lbs heavier than I need to be and have never run in my life...and I just decided yesterday that I wamt to run the 1/2 at Disneyworld next year. i have greatly enjoyed going back and reading your training posts. I have never pushed myself like this before. It's going to be an adventure. Great job and thanks for being an inspiration! (My husband thinks I am absolutely crazy!)
Glad you made it on ToT!!!! See, it wasn't that bad! I think the name is scarier than the ride. I always 'redneck' those pictures too!
How nice of Melissa to drive down and meet you!![]()
That's awesome that you're a ToT convert! I love that ride but haven't been on it in years!
Amanda
I'm glad that you like ToT, it is one of my favs, so much fun! I was terrified the first time I went on but then I ended up loving it just like you!
ToT is one of my favorites! My DN was scared to try it when we were there last April but he ended up loving it too. It does seem like it would be scary. I have been on those free fall rides at other parks and am not a huge fan but for some reason ToT is just FUN!We always come off that ride with huge smiles.

Hey Carissa! Great job on the race, can't wait to hear all about it! Unfortunately life got in the way of my training/running the half, but I'm back at it now and aiming for the Wine and Dine half. You are an inspiration!
