Rachel killed the screen door.

Okay, it's old and crappy, made of wood by the man who owned the house before we bought it 16 years ago. It's sagging a bit and doesn't always close properly.

But Geeze, Louise! When she turned the handle and when it wouldn't open, she kicked it. Kicked a panel loose and cracked the board along the edge.

I didn't know whether to yell at her or thank her. Looks like we'll be getting a new one soon.

I might have to change her name to Rachel, the Barbarian!
