we are 12 days out from our visit to the POP...at the moment I have recommendations for the 50's bldg w/a lake view...now, I'm wondering if I should change to the 70"s. You mentioned it was really close to the busses...I need to make up my mind I fax my request on Wednesday!

Yay, you're so close to your trip!
The 70's building (building 10, atleast) was in the perfect location! The view (for us) wasn't the best, but the location made up for it!

Hmm, I'm not sure if you should go for 70's or 50's...
They both have their pros and cons, can't wait to hear what you decide to request!

In the end, it's just pure luck

It was awesome, and very convienent, to be so close! When we stayed at POR, our building was so far away from EVERYTHING, we had to walk so far to get to the main building. It was so nice to take the minute walk to the classic hall, refill our mugs and walk back

April 5th
Day 1

I last left off with us getting ready to board the bus. We got on, took our seats, and headed off to Magic Kingdom!

The drive from POP to MK is about... 10 minutes long. It's hard when you're used to hoping on a monorail. We've also realized that transportation at Deluxe resorts are the best when it comes to buses. There's hardly anyone at the bus stop, and the buses comes extremely frequently, we've never had to wait longer then a few minutes.

Anyways, in about 10 minutes we were at the Magic Kingdom! We got off the bus, walked the *long* way to the enterence, went through the turnstiles without a problem

and started down Main Street USA.

Our first destination?
To get some FP's for the Jungle Cruise!

After that, it was time for some...

Pirates!

It was about a ten minute wait, went by pretty quickly, and we enjoyed our ride through the pirate scenes!

After POTC we walked over to Haunted Mansion, to check on the wait. I believe that last time my aunt, uncle, and cousins went to WDW, they did not ride HM, so we had to give them that expierience!

**It's unusual to see a wait time that doesn't end in a "0" or "5"**
The line was zig-zagged all over the place! It didn't stay under the convering area, it went all around the broken water fountain! Never the less, we got in line.

We got in line, and waited. And waited. Finally, we got into our doombuggies (I know I rode it with DB11 and DC4, not sure about everyone else...)

It was fun! I think DC4&6 liked the hitch-hicking ghosts the most, they're always a fun thing

So, after our journey to see the ghosts, it was time for some dinner, and where else to eat then...

The grown-ups ordered, while the kids went to find a table upstairs.

Before I get to my cousins, let me just say, they catch on quick. I asked both of them the same question, "Ryan/David can I take a picture of your food?" both of them were excited to let me do so! And, each time they got a snack, or a meal, they would say to me "Take a picture of my food!" don't they cooperate well?

I saw that picture with the wait time of 24 minutes, and thought to myself, "That's pretty strange." Then I read under the picture, where you had written the same thing!

That is too funny how your cousins liked getting in on the food pictures. Smart fellows! Who knows? Maybe future DISers.........

I'm anxious to see how bad you are at Buzz, and how much worse somebody else is than you......................Let's just say, that I'm pretty bad myself!

They were pretty good considering we were there the week after Easter!
The hitch-hicking ghosts freaked me out a little too! Of course, I was trying to figure out how they got there in the first place though...
