April 5th- Day 1
On the road & POP Century

The day before (Easter) was a busy day. We had gone to one family house for breakfast, and another one for an early dinner.

While at dinner, DB12 didn't feel too well, but he got better quickly.
We went to bed pretty early that night, because we would have to wake up early the next morning.

My parents woke us up at 5:00. We got up, got dressed, brushed out hair, brushed our teeth, went to the bathroom, and got into the car. We had packed up the car the night before, so we could just hop right in!

We were on the road at 5:15. When we drive somewhere like to Flordia, we make limited stops. That means, when we stop to eat, we also stop for gas. When we stop to use the bathroom, we also stop to eat, or for gas. We double it up to limit stops.

My aunt and them left at 5:13 (they live next door to us, if that gives you a better picture) Since they have such small kids, they took a lot of bathroom breaks on the way down. So, in the end they ended up getting to the POP an hour or so after us. Let's not get too far ahead though...

This is the part where I make the 9 hour drive shortened into a thirty second read, enjoy(;

We made three stops on the way down, and watched a total of one and a half movies in the car.

Stop #1: gas and bathroom break
Stop #2: Chick-fil-a (I was very thankful it wasn't a sunday!) and gas
Stop #3: bathroom break

Movie #1: Walace and Gromit- the wrong pants! (more like a 30 minute show)
Movie #2: We started watching Ice Age-Dawn of the Dino's, but it was stopped half way through because we arrived at WDW!

We got to POP at 1:20

We checked in, and were given the directions to our room! We were in the
'70s building (building 10), 4th floor, and we had connecting rooms with my aunt!

We were in an AMAZING location, we just walked outside, and there was the bus stop, and we were close to the main building, so we were close to POP's CS

We unpacked, and relaxed until my aunt, uncle *DayDay- as he would like to be referred to. Don't ask*, and cousins arrived.

April 5th
Day 1

AR, *DayDay*, and my cousins arrived at 2:50.

OOPS, I think I forgot to mention that:

#1 My cousins had NO idea that they were going to WDW until that morning when my aunt woke them up.

#2 My cousins also had NO idea that WE were going to be there!

So, imagine their faces when my mom, DB11, and I went down to the parking lot, over to their car, to help them get their stuff to their room? Priceless!

So, we helped carry their luggage to their room and they unpacked while we finished eating lunch. The boys *note, when I refer to 'the boys' it's mostly going to be either both of my brothers or both of my cousins. In this case, it's my cousins* had eaten their lunch in the car, so they just "relaxed" while my aunt unpacked.

I went out onto the outside-hall and took some pics of the surroundings:

What was our first park? Magic Kingdom, of course. We normally start with MK and end with MK **cough hint cough**

Walking to the bus stop got a little delayed...

After a little detour, we headed to the MK bus stop...

My dad found some pixie dust in his pocket... must have been from last trip!

What a great surprise for your cousins. I'm sure they must of been even more thrilled to arrive to POP to see you guys there. Did you get in one of the refurbished rooms? Your Yeti is so cute. The girls both want to get one in May. Can't wait to hear about the Magic Kingdom.
