"Quit Stepping on my Foot!" ~An April 2010 TR~ *NEW! 6/18 Last update!*

April 7th
Day 3
Poly/Monorail/MK/POP

I said goodbye to my tiki-friend and we walked out the doors and onto the platform.

In no time, the monorail pulls up, and we load on!
IMG_5982.jpg

Of course, we just had to take some pics on the monorail! We're a tiny bit obsessed with the monorails... :rolleyes1

We passed the Grand Floridian, which will be our home for eight days this summer, and headed to the MK.

We got off, and walked over to the bus stop to POP.

A few minutes later, the bus arrived, and we got on. The bus wasn't very crowded, which is odd. Normally, the buses were always crowded, especially at night when heading back to the hotel.

In about ten minutes, we're back at the POP. We go straight to our rooms, say good night to my aunt, uncle, and cousins, and walk into our room.

And DB12 is there, in the exact spot we left him, watching TV.

It's about 11 o'clock, we were all so tired (minus DB12) from our busy day, we went to bed as soon as we got back.

Up Next: Girls Park Day!

The monorail is ........................well,................just plain fun, no matter who you are! :thumbsup2

Hey, Sara-Did I notice that you changed your avatar? Love the little Yeti! :)

Day 4
Hollywood Studios

We woke up and had breakfast in the room, and talked about our plans for that morning.

My brothers wanted to go to the pool and hang out at the POP, but I really wanted to go to HWS, since we were doing EPCOT that night.

So, the boys decided to stay back and go swimming and chillax, while the girls (my mom, aunt, and me) went to HWS.

It was def. our shortest bus ride, probably only... 5 minutes long?

We entered the park with no problem, and saw this sight:

We decided to see what the wait time was for Toy Story

Side Note: I've only ridden TSM once, and I absolutly LOVE it! Now, many of you know that I'm terrible at Buzz Lightyear, and those types of rides, and TSM is no exception, but I did do much better on TSM then I've ever done on BL.
Well, the time I actually rode TSM, we waited in line for 70+, but it was well-worth it! I'll never wait that long for it again, but it was worth it at the time

We walked over, and the time for it was about 120 minutes. No thank you. Maybe some fastpasses?
IMG_5989.jpg

Umm, no. We weren't going to be there between 7:10 and 8:10 pm.

Maybe my favorite ride will have a shorter line?
IMG_5991.jpg

Negative. I think the wait time was 100 minutes, and we wouldn't be there to use the FP's either.

Too bad, I wasn't going to get to ride either of my favorite rollercoasters this trip): But, all the more reason to go back again!

I snapped a pic of ToT, which definatly was NOT on our to-do list
IMG_5990.jpg

I rode this ride back in 2006, what a mistake on my 10 year old selves behalf. My dad, mom, "cousin", DB12, and I went on it. My mom, bro, and "cousin" sat in the back row, while my dad and I were front and center.
It wasn't a very good experience. I think they need something else other then a puny little seatbelt. I was probably two feet off my seat the whole time.

And now, I have a strong fear of elevators. I'd much rather walk up/down the stairs.

Anyways, back to our trip! Since it was a no-go for RNRC and TSM, I suggested The Great Movie Ride! So, we headed over that way to check out the line.

Ten minute wait! Let's go!
We waited for less then ten minutes, and were seated in the verrrry last row. Which, I had thought was a bad thing, but actually turned out pretty cool! As we were leaving the scene where your original host stops the bad guy that took over your 'ride' in the Indiana Jones scene, we turned around and you could see the next people's host person, coming out and flipping a little square, so that the skelteton dissapears and it's just the blocks again.

That's a terrible explantation, so heres a pic:

I circled in blue what they turned around so that the skeleton is either there, or there's nothing.

So, that was pretty cool.

After our ride throught the movies, we walked over to One Man's Dream. We've never been in there, and I thought it was quite interesting!

Wow! I was actually there with Mickey and Walt, so cool(:

That castle was AMAZING!

^I had tons of fun hanging out with my old friends

We reached the end of the walk through part, right when the movie was starting! Great timing
The movie was cute, and really told you A LOT about Walt's life. I learned a bunch of things I never knew before.

After learning about Walt Disney's life, it was time for some lunch.
But, where to?

Up Next: Shopping and Flowers

I enjoy walking through one mans dream, the things they have on display are very interesting! toy story mania is a cute ride, too bad the wait ia always soo long

Glad you liked One Man's Dream. I am determined to get there next month. Too bad about TSM and RNRC. We love The Great Movie Ride!

I like Walt---One Man's Dream; so I'm just a little ashamed to admit that I used the movie afterwards to get in a power nap this past New Year's Eve! :rolleyes1

OMD was a great break from the heat, and the crowds
TGMR is one of my favorites(:

 I don't blame you though! For the first few minutes of the movie, I was thinking that it was boring and I'd probably fall asleep. Luckily, it got better

Hey, we were at DHS on the 8th too! We are probably somewhere in that picture of the hat with the crowd. :rotfl:

We love TSM!! Ahh...too bad it had such a long wait time...that and RNRC.:sad2: Oh well...like you said it gives you a great excuse to go back!:thumbsup2

I'm so glad you liked One Man's Dream. We have been wanting to see that but for some reason we always run out of time. Hopefully next trip!!:)
