Quieter places to watch fireworks

I Know quiet and fireworks don't really go together. DD doesn't mind fireworks, she loves the bright lights and colors, but I'm more concerned about the music. I've always remembered the music, especially during Illuminations, being super loud, and I'm worried that will startle her. I was thinking watching fireworks from the bridge between WS and FW would be a good place, but we're staying at the BW, so we'd feel like salmon trying to get to the IG afterwards. Any other suggestions in the park?

I honestly don't think the music for Illuminations is all that loud, but the booming fireworks definitely are. I don't know of a place where you could have a decent view of the fireworks and not have a lot of noise, but I'll tell you that my best friend's son has always been sensitive to loud noises and they take a pair of insulating headphones along to Disney, just for fireworks viewing. They're the kind you'd wear to mow the grass or use other loud equipment. Regular noise-cancelling ones might work OK, too. It's definitely worth a try.

For Wishes, you can watch from the beach at the Polynesian. The music is piped in, but it's not very loud and the "booms" are much further away.

We used the kids peltor ear protectors when ds was little and bothered by noise. I bought them on amazon.

My younger daughter is very sensitive to loud noises. I second the recommendation for Peltor Ear Protectors. They come in sizes small enough for a toddler; she just graduated to their larger size this trip. And they come in kiddie colors as well. They're the ONE thing she always makes absolutely certain I've packed.

Earmuffs are the best! We had to get some for my toddler for Grand Prix races, but she wanted them even at the hair salon this past weekend. She's thinking she might even like the fireworks if she could wear her earmuffs. She loves them so much, so it's an easy fix.

If you are in the MK you could hop on the monorail and head over to the observation deck at the Contemporary.
