Quiet Pools?

What exactly are quiet pools? This is a totally new concept since we last stayed on site? Does that just mean that there are no waterslides or are there actually noise rules?

Usually no slides and no lifeguards. They have posted hours just like the busier pools.

It always makes me laugh when I hear a mom say to loud kids "remember this is the quiet pool!".

It is usually a nice, but plain pool if you call any pool at WDW plain. We often go to the one at BWV. There are no set rules of being quiet.
