Quiet place for conference call in Magic Kingdom?

Walk way behind Space Mountain as long as you don't get to close to the Speedway. Also the walkway between Adventure Land and Frontier Land. Either of these spots have some mostly quite areas to sit down for a call. I think I have taken conference calls in all the parks at some point over the years and lost entire days sitting in our hotel rooms while my wife and friends hit the parks. Its not always fun but it does pay the bills.

Perhaps if you asked politely they'd let you sit in the lobby of the First Aid office near Crystal Palace - we were in there for a minor medical issue once and it was quiet as a tomb!

There is also that back walkway that runs between the fantasyland train station and space mountain-don't recall if there are any benches back there to sit down but I recall it being pretty empty when we've walked along it in the past

One thing to note, there is/was a smoking area along the back walking trail. While the path is quite long, and it shouldn't be an issue, just something to be aware of.

Another option for the original poster, exit the park and go to the right along the bricked path besides the monorail. You will be along the lake and away from the boats. The only noise should be the monorail gliding silently overhead. There are benches. Not so fun if it is raining.

Try the benches to the far end just outside of the Space Mountain gift shop.

There are benches in that area (it's at the end of the back walkway from FL and TL) but it's a pretty popular smoking area as well. Don't know if it's officially a DSA but there are plenty of them hanging out there. I don't remember any benches on the actual walkway.

I have done some calls ON the train during slower times when I was more informal, but if I have to do work calls I tend to try to leave the actual park.

I would head over to contemporary if it will be lengthy and you have to talk/take notes. If it's more of a "listening" call where you don't need to talk much, I would probably go to tom sawyers island and sit in one of the chairs by the closed concession stand area.

If the weather is nice and you are willing to step outside the MK itself, the walkway going toward the Grand Floridian along the lake may be an option. You may get some train and boat noise. I think I remember there being benches here and there.

Center Street might work if you just have to listen in and comment occasionally.

I have always enjoyed the walkways that run behind the castle; one goes to Liberty Square, and the other lets out near the carousel in Fantasyland. The one leading to Fantasyland has a nice little recessed area with benches. I usually take my DGDs to nap though last year I witnessed a proposal in front of the wishing well.
