Quick SW check-in question

I am checking in for family who don't have computer access. Their flight leaves at 6:15 eastern, so do I check them in at 5:15 central time? If I wait until 6:15 Central, I would be an hour behind everyone else, right?

Yes, that's right. FYI for an additional $12 PP they can do early bird check in where southwest does it for you automatically.

Yes you should charge them $6.00 for kinda sorta early bird checkin!
