We just returned and here are a few quick reviews:
'Ohanas - Even with the menu change, this is still one of our favorites. Although we missed the skewered shrimp, the appetizer shrimp is very good. We liked the new bread pudding dessert, but the "old" pineapple/caramel dessert will be sorely missed.
Tony's - This was a return trip to Tony's for us and we were very pleased with the meals and the service was excellent. All of us had the spaghetti, and enjoyed it.
House of Blues - We love the food at HOB - cajun meatloaf, jambalaya, and the shrimp po'boy. Our server was probably one of the best waitstaff that we have seen.
Chef Mickey's - We have visited Chef Mickey's three times in the past. Two times the food and service were great, and once our experience was not that good. With that said, we went back for visit number four, and had a wonderful time. I honestly believe that if you could only go to one character meal, this should be it. The character interaction was the best that I had seen anywhere. No rushing - no hurry - and a great deal of patience. The meal was excellent, and although many folks do not like buffets, this one is an exception. Our server was extremely attentive and helped with all of the action.
Teppanyaki - This was our first visit and we were very pleased with the food and the atmosphere. The chef was entertaining, the server was responsive, and the food was delicious - shrimp/chicken combo, shrimp/scallops combo, and shrimp/steak combo. The only "down" part of the dinner was the seating arrangements. We were a party of three, so we knew that we would be seated with others. However, we were seated in a room where a rather large group was occupying two tables and there were three seats left at each table. We went to one table and three other people went to the other table. During the entire meal the people from the large group seemed to be constantly "yelling" back and forth to each other, and they were up and down visiting each others table. I realize that the restaurant is not responsible for patrons behavior, but this was really distracting and frankly, we couldn't wait to leave.
Lilo and Stitch - The majority of this meal was very good. We have visited before and loved the Mickey waffles, bacon and sausage, and of course, the pineapple bread; however, this time the eggs appeared to be under-cooked. The characters seemed to be in a hurry and not very patient. They came around several times, but they didn't seem to visit long.
I'll be glad to answer any questions, and of course these comments are based on our experience and everyone has their own opinions.
