I enjoy reading other reviews so I thought I would post ours. This will be a quickie review.
My fellow travelers were my husband, 15 years old son, 12 years old son, 5 years old son and 5 years old niece.
We arrived at Disney on June 20th- That night we ate at T-Rex. It was beyond loud and the food took forever to arrive. We ate in the ice cave room and the flickering lights weren't so good either. We had steak, chicken salad, burgers and two chicken kids meals. The food was ok but really over priced and service was so so.
On June 21st we ate lunch at Captain Cooks- every OK (my husband and 15ds ate there several times for lunch and really liked it). We had O'Hana's for dinner. We liked the salad, wings, steak and dessert. The other items were just ok and we waited too long for shrimp. The chef took excellent care of my tree nut allergy guy with a special dessert.
On June 22nd we ate at Sunshine Seasons for lunch. Everyone's food was excellent. We ate from the grill and the noodle station. For dinner we ate at Teppan Edo. This was awesome!! The chef show was great and everyone enjoyed the food- minus dn5 who didn't like the chicken. Dessert was just ok. Service was great.
On June 23rd we ate at ABC Commissary. We had burgers and chicken sandwiches. The 2 5's had nugget meals and neither would eat them- I tried a nugget and it was gross. The other food was good and the desserts were nice. We had dinner at 1900 Park Faire. Service was good, the kids loved the characters but the food wasn't very good.
On June 24th the little guys and I ate at Columbia Harbour. I had fish and chicken- it was ok and the little guys shared an adult chicken strip meal that they really enjoyed. For dinner we ate at Crystal Palace. The food was better than that at 1900 Park Faire. The teens found more food they would eat and service was good.
On June 25th we had lunch at Flame Tree BBQ. It was ok- not as good as we remembered. I had to keep reminding them to give us the stuff we needed drink cups etc and the birds were everywhere. That evening we ate at Kona Cafe. This was the best food of the trip. We had steak and the noodle dish. Desserts were excellent and once again they took excellent care of my no tree nut guy with a special dessert.
On June 26th we ate at Columbia Harbour again- the only place with seating and quick lines. For dinner we ate Chef Mickeys. An awesome meal that everyone enjoyed with great service. This was the best buffet.
On June 27th the little guys and I ate at Electric Umbrella- we had standard burgers. We finished our week at Chefs de France. We all had steak- everyone liked it but we had the sauce on the side and the little guys had chicken and pasta. The desserts were especially good and service was great.
Overall our favorites were Teppan Edo, Kona Cafe and Chefs de France. The buffets were not as good as they had been in the past. Prices have really gone up over the last few years and the required tip of 18% for 6 or more is crazy- some meals the tip was $35 or more for meals lasting less than an hour.
