I know there is a sticky and this has been asked a million ways, but I couldn't quite find my answer.

Has anyone used Uberfamily to-from Disney and Universal? We will be heading to Universal for a day with a 5 and 2 year old so will need a booster and carseat. We won't be bringing any with, so we were trying to find the best way to get back and forth.

From my understanding cab rides aren't horribly expensive, but they aren't short either. I wasn't sure if normal cab companies would have carseats on hand or ready.

Any thoughts, experiences?

I want to know the answer to this too
Can you get a car seat in a taxi?

An Uber would the same commute time as a taxi. Only difference is that a taxi will be a few bucks more - not significant. Can't speak as to whether car seats are readily available through either, but we took a taxi that was waiting on standby at CBR. If a cab is waiting on hand at a Disney resort, I'd assume he would have a car seat given where he's chosen to wait for fares. But if they don't, bell services can call and request a cab that has what you need.

Thanks. I just meant that Taxis weren't a short commute so I didn't feel comfortable riding without carseats for my kids. I realize the commute time would be the same with Uber or a taxi :)

Gotcha - sorry I misread. A lot of people recommend Mears shuttle on here which DOES take longer due to multiple stops, so wasn't sure if you're thinking with Uber was along those lines perhaps. Anyway, hopefully someone can speak more to their experience with Uber and car seats. Worst case, a cab can be called with one.

There are car rentals on property for a fee they will have car seats. Might be easier and cheaper. You would have car for 24 hrs so you could venture out, grab snacks or dinner off site.
