So, by my calculations, my 45 day payment for my upcoming trip is due today. The travel agent I booked it with is out of the office. I always book my own room only reservations, so have no experience with this - is it OK to be a day or two late on final payment? Don't want Disney cancelling my stay. I am assuming since I booked with an agent I can't pay it off directly with Disney.

Disney does not require packages be paid in full until 30 days out. It used to be 45, but changed about a year ago.

OK, Thanks. Perhaps the agency had not changed the fine print on their quotes, mine does state 45. The confirmation from Disney does not state a date, just that it may be cancelled if not paid in a timely manner.

If it states 45 days, I'd definitely check with the agency to make sure. I've gotten quotes from a TA that offers agency exclusive discounts and the PIF date has always been 45 days prior to arrival (for both RO and packages, although the cancel time frame is 5 days prior to arrival for both). Those specific discounts were through group sales so the rules might be different, but I'd check with your TA to make sure.

I also booked an agency exclusive through a TA. Final payment was also 45 days instead of the 30. Since you booked with a TA, payments have to be through them.

Our TA requires payment in full at 45 days. Since you booked with a TA then you have to pay them, not Disney. I would do your best to attempt to make a payment with the TA, but you may have to wait for them to return from vacation.

My TA didn't get back to me right away when I tried to make a payment at 45 days, and there was never a question of Disney cancelling the reservation. She eventually took the payment about a week later.
