In order to attend e night you need to be a resort guest with a multi day pass, correct? Do you need to have used your multi day pass on the day of e night?
Our friends only have one day left on their passes and arent going into the parks on the day of e night. That should be fine, right? And they will still have a day left on their passes.

We went to an E night last week. Yes it is for resort guests and multi day passes only. We paid at the hotel and got a ticket. You then would have to put your WDW pass card through the machine when you enter the park so I'm quite sure it would use up one of your days. You then go trade in your ticket for a bracelet after you enter the park. We felt it was worth the extra money as the line ups were short for all e-night rides. It was nice to walk around the park with no crowds.

If I am not mistaken they would have to use that last day on their passes to get into the MK for e-night. E-night is in addition to the park admission for the day. That is the way it has worked in the past.:(

from what I understand about the e-nights... you do have to use your park pass on the day of the e-night. So they would have to use up there last day on their passes.

As allicat stated, you do need to be a resort guest...as far as having 'multi-day' passes, I am not so sure..I do know that you MUST have regular admission to MK...so your friend would have to have used a day to get into MK reguardless of wanting to attend e-night...and e-night is an additional charge of $10.00 per person.
Whatever your friend does, if an e-night is available, absolutely GO FOR IT!!!!! I cannot tell you how much more magical the park seems after closing...it feels so special to be there and just even walk around......the Haunted Mansion(my absolute favorite) seems much more spooky, BTMRR seems so much more rickety, Splash Mt. all the more intense of a drop...Space Mt all the more out of control.....maybe it's just me, but the rides are alot more fun in the dark...and Main St. seems beyond measure! Not to mention, the meet and greet areas are nice, because the CM's are able to withstand the night air better than the daytime sun.

All in all....just do it...once you do, your hooked for life!!!

(Praying for enights in May, and may hours pleeeeeeeeeaasssee!!!!)

Yes, you must use a day on your pass to gain entrance to the MK ... The e-ride night wristband will cost you $12+tax and is for staying in the park for the additional 3 hours after close.

All literature states that you must be a resort guest and possess a multi-day pass, AP, UPH, etc.

I am arriving this coming Thursday (one week from today). The e-night is Friday. Is there any way to get the pass early, or do I not have to worry about it being sold out?

We did e-night the last time we were there and it was awesome. I'd suggest hitting the haunted mansion side of the park 1st as fantasyland was still a little full from lingering guests. We made our way over afterward and it was almost empty. No waiting at all!

From what I understand, you buy it at your resort check-in desk ... so you can't buy it early. I also read somewhere that they have never "sold-out" on e-ride night. Don't know if that's true, but thought I'd pass it along.

TRAPPED-PARENT is right, you cannot buy the ticket in advance, only once you check into your resort. If I'm not mistaken, you can buy the ENight ticket at the gate too if you show your resort ID.
ENight is a blast! We went March 4 and stayed on Buzz three times in a row, Splash Mountain twice in a row, and Space Mountain we hit at least four times. The only thing that stunk was towards the end of the night, they only had one loading station open in both Space and Thunder and the lines were getting to be about 20 minutes.

Just get up early (or send one person) to buy all the tickets. If you buy before you actually go to breakfast and the parks, you will be fine. If you wait until the last moment, there may be problems. Just find out what time the Guest Services opens at your resort and go then. At 7 in the morning, not too many people are moving, making lines there non-existent!

You are not restricted to buying E night tickets only on the day of the event. The resorts do sell them a couple of days in advance. You can only purchase them if you are a registered resort guest both at the time of purchase and on the day the E night ticket is for. In rupprath's case, they should have no problem purchasing the Friday E night ticket at check-in on Thursday.

So, they would have to go into a park on that day just to go to e night? They only have 1 day left on their passes and are saving it for Monday so it doesnt look like they can go! Im still going!:D

allicat, unless they want to give up Friday, looks like ENight is only all you. Enjoy though, its a great time!
