When is the "best" age to take two little girls to it? We have two DD's who are 2 and 4. I know the 4 year old would love it if we went this trip but don't think the 2 year old would so much and we do not want to go until they'll both thoroughly enjoy it.

take em now and than later too and you can later compare pictures of their growing up through the years. Its quite an eyeopener. That is what we do and have pics of the character meals over yrs at different ages as they are teens now and going again this year

I would take them now. It's worth doing it for the experience and it's priceless at 4yo plus it's free for your 2yo. We never know what will happen tomorrow and I like to live life in the today.

I love this thought. :goodvibes

We will be going in September with our two year old and our little one who will be one at that point. Will they remember it, no..but we will. Our two year old loves princesses, so this should be fun for her. And we will be able to takes lots of pictures for our scrapbooks. And I love the thought of comparing the pictures of the family over the years.

Take them now. 4 is a wonderful age!!! Took my DD at age 2 and honestly, some of my favorite memories of all our trips~ and we do CRT each time for her~ she will be 12 this year and it is still on the top of her must do list! Just be sure the 2 year old knows who the princesses are~ that she is familiar with the movies. DD at 2 was entralled with Cinderella and Snow White. Snow White wanted her to be an 8th dwarf and when Cinderella came to our table (before they changed the format), she ran to her and literally knocked her to her knees. Cinderella sat on the floor with her forever~ they rubbed noses, cuddled, hugged.... wonderful memories! If she knows who they are, the 2 year old will love it too!
CRT= priceless memories for princess loving little girls

Ok decided to make the ADR. DH was hesitant with having to pay upfront but we are going for it. Our oldest DD really wants to go in the castle and I just know we'd regret it if we didn't.

We took my nephew right after he turned one and his reaction to all the characters was amazing. He wouldn't let go of some of the princesses and he kept grabbing them from behind. He won't remember, but all the adults still do!

The pictures and experience is worth it, IMO.

Be warned, you could end up with this level of cuteness (from when we took our DDs at 4 and 2):

enjoy it tremendously. The two year old may not remember the experience later. The four year old probably will. We have taken our daughter at around three, four and six. She didn't remember the castle too much after the first trip but we know she had a good time. Her enjoyment has increased as she grew older as has her memory. We'll be going again this trip which will probably be the last time for awhile.

You will not regret it !!! We went a few years ago and it was awesome...have a great time.

Me and my DGF went on our last trip and really enjoyed it. We think its worth it at any age, your DD4 will def enjoy it, as will you. I think its one of those things worth doing every disney trip. We go on the DxDP so cost is not an issue for us. We take a peek at our bill just to see how much meals really cost, we were suprised to see how inexpensive it was (i dont remember the exact cost, but we were def expecting it to be more). I say go! You also will get pics (included in the price) of your kids (and you if you want to be in the pic) not to mention the food was great (we thought)...service was excellent as well.
Have fun!
