Quick Pool Question for any resort

I've tried to find information but haven't had any luck so far...its just a quick question.

Can you take coolers down to the pool area with your own alchohol with plastic cups of course...?

As long as the alcohol and mixers are also in plastic, you should be good to go. No glass of any type is allowed in teh pool areas.

Thanks so much! We always use plastic..but there are some resorts that won't even let you take a cooler to the pool. I suppose it is a way to get you to buy their drinks. Of course I'm never good at making strawberry daiquiris so I have to buy those. *chuckles*

You bet, and as previous posted, no glass. It's one of the reasons we keep going back to WDW, nothing better than the hot Florida sun, great themed pool, crystal clear water, a good book and a cooler full of alcoholic beverages. We skip out of the parks in the afternoon to get out of the crowds, and hanging around the pool in the afternoon is how we spend our time. We also make a point to return to the pool late evening, have a glass of wine and mull over the days experiences and make plans for the morning. Take your cooler and have a cocktail for us too.

I'm so glad for this thread. My husband had us acting like secret agents or something trying to take one, just one, plastic cup of wine down to the pool area. He said it was Disney so we couldn't take alcohol out in public. The man didn't remember that just a few hours before we were walking around Epcot with a beer in our hand.
