Quick Place to eat before Wishes cruise?

Hiya!

We have a Wishes Cruise booked, departing from the Poly at 9:00. We're arriving in Disney that day, probably getting to our room around 5 or so, and then we're going to need some food-- badly!

I'm thinking of staying around the MK/MK resort areas, what's a good place that doesn't require an ADR, and serves something other than burgers and fries? I've searched the menus on allears and apparently my poor brain is just fried.

Any suggestions? Or should I try to get an ADR for somewhere? (Where?)

We ate at Kona cafe before our Wishes cruise. It was one of our best meals. It's never been full when we've gone. You'll love the cruise! What a great night!

We love the Kona, too. We went on a Wishes cruise on July 15 (departed the CR) and it was fabulous!!! A fellow Diser shared his cruise with us and we absolutely loved it, have fun!!!!

We did a Wishes cruise our last big trip and had a fantastic meal right before at Narcossee's .. I realize you likely don't have enough time for that.

I think if you pick somewhere at Poly or GF (Where you catch the boat) are good bets to minimize running around. DW would be happy sitting and having a Lapu Lapu ..

We've done the Wishes cruise from several different departure points and have found that it's easiest to eat where you will be leaving from. If you're being picked up at the Poly I would try for Kona or 'Ohana. That way all you have to do is walk downstairs to the marina to catch the boat. Much less stressful than trying to get there from another resort, IMO.

Looks like it's going to be the Kona, or we may try venturing to a counter service in the MK. However, the Lapu Lapu sounds great... had one of those before, and whooooaaaa!! They're strong!
