If I can figure out how to put photos in I will have a very quick (mostly animals and shopping) TR.
My family and I went up for the last shuttle launch and stayed at Buena Vista Suites which was actually a pretty great hotel for us. Highly recommend it for larger families. We drove up from Miami on July 7 and stayed at BVS. Got up at 5am to drive over to Titusville for the 11:23 launch. Crazy traffic so it took us about 2 hours to get there and five hours to get back to WDW. We got a great patch of grass to sit on right across from the River from the launch site. They were expecting about a million people in that little city for the launch and I think they got it. Crazy packed. After a 4 hr wait with a 12 yr old and a 3yr old (also a 22 yr old and my 39 yr old DH) the shuttle took off and was visible for about a minute with the cloud cover. Long wait for 1 minute but it was so worth it!

Followed your link over on MeMom and Jill's report.
I was wondering how it would be trying to find somewhere to watch the launch, and how much you'd see, but it looks like you did great! A long wait for a minute though!
And I especially enjoyed those shopping pics - we're headed to WDW in August and I love those sneak peeks at things I might just be seeing myself soon :)

Thanks for looking. Not the longest trip report ever but not the longest trip ever either. lol When are you going in August. I am taking the kids up for a week. Be prepared for HOT.

We're arriving 23rd August for a 10 night trip. And whilst we've been in August before the past couple of trips we've taken have been with the little ones in September where everything is easier because it's quiet!
This trip will be different because we're also taking my parents - who have been warned about the heat and humidity! Although I think having more adults might work in our favour because it might give us more opportunities for the girls to have some nap/pool time/early nights whilst the adults take it in turns to go for rides with longer wait times!
