I'm going to do my shirts today, and I'm using Amy's transfers. She recommends a folded pillow case or towel on a hard surface. Is there a reason I can't just use my ironing board?

ironing boards have a few problems--
1-they usually have padded cover on them. even that slight amount of padding can make a difference.
2-they usually have small holes in the metal for air flow. you want the pressure even and the holes in your ironing board will mess it up.
i have found-->never question amy. she knows all (when it comes to transfers ;-)
good luck!
We went to Disney last September and I made all of my shirts, around 50 of them. They turned out beautiful.... However, when we put them on we started to have some problems. Any designs that I put on the front of my shirts cracked and my daughters lanyards started rubbing theres off as the day wore on. When we returned home from our trip, we washed all of our disney shirts and they all faded and ran and were completely ruined and unwearable. I did not use Amy's iron-ons. I used cotton shirts from Academy, a local sports store, and the transfers were wiltons from micheals. I really want to do shirts for our upcoming trip this September but I am worried that they won't turn out. Any suggestions on what I did wrong....
dismommy2 - I have several versions of tiaras on plain Mickey heads in my Photobucket Mickey Head Hats folder.
