Quick HOT SEAT brag!!!

We just spent 7 nights at WDW....our favorite attraction of all times is WWTBAMPI....so for a family of 6 here are our stats...

Over Christmas our scoring was 4 hot seats, 3 declines and numerous top 10 ratings...but that was in 15 days....

Well I need to brag that we beat our record...

7days....4 hot seats, 3 declines and numerous top ten ratings...

but this time we only did 14 shows.....so our batting percentage is about 50% getting in the hot seat...

Our last show before we headed to the airport Kelley (dd13) got fastest finger and had to decline due to winning earlier in trip....they went to person #2 they played and lost at about 2000pts....they went to the top ten Kelley was #1 again...had to decline again so they went to the number 2 person...which was my son Blair(ds11).....his first time in the hot seat...very very excited...

All and all we still love WWTBAMPI!!!!! it is very addicting.....

We can't wait to do this one. We were there in April and just didn't have time to do it. Either we missed it or a ps was coming up or something. This time I have promised DW that we will do this. We can't wait.

3 winners lost after the 1000pts so ended up with 1000pt baseball hat and 5 pins....and me the wonderful Zurgswife lost at the 125,000pt question....so I came home with my FIRST WWTBAMPI Polo Shirt....

I've been in the hot seat twice at DL---once to 250, the other time to 64,. I've never actually worn the polo, but my DD loves the pin lanyard.

When I made it to 250, DH was #2 behind me, and was #1 all the way until I lost. I wish he had made it---maybe he could have gone all the way. Or at least the guilt would have been his!!!

Can't wait for September, when it's just me and DH---we can camp out there without the kids whining about those stupid rides!!! LOL!!!!

We love that attraction also!! We didn't get into the hot seat, but had the fastest finger seats last Sunday pm. What a great spot to watch and participate in the show!!!


Sorry we missed you at WL. Actually, I think I saw you waiting for the bus on Sunday am. I was just getting up the nerve to approach possibly you and someone walked up to me. It was a person from where I live which is a very, very, small town in PA. Sure is a small world!

We had a great cruise and stay at WL. Our room was ready at 10am and we got a free upgrade.

It was us I remember 2 ladies acting like they were running into each other unexpectedly.....Now that you mention the meeting....I'm sure we were the people waiting at the bus stop...

Yeah they pool was a nightmare...... Barely found my family much less anybody else....

We also got upgraded to a courtyard view....WL was OK....

Congratulations Zurgswife!! I love the show also. My hubby is very accomadating about sitting through a few shows so that I might make the hot seat. If only I could get over my 'stage fright' I might at least add the polo shirt to my hats and lanyards. LOL

I have been practicing on the network site so I can get used to the music and such. Hope it helps.

Is there a secret to getting to the hot seat? we haven't been to disney in 15 years so oblivously never been to this attraction. Is there anyway to prepare for this attraction?

Secrets to getting into the hotseat?
Getting the answers right helps! But, really you've got to be fast, and you've got to be right. If the keypad lights up completely, and you haven't chosen an answer by then, you're too late. You have to push the button repetitively, as soon as you think you know the answer. I find the best chance of getting into the hotseat is when there are several 'D' answers, and thru process of elimination I know it is going to be D, and press it before the answer is shown. You very seldom get into the hotseat by the fastest finger question. It is usually somebody that has guessed the order in less than 2 seconds, so you might as well guess too.
That's right, we did get to see two people in the same show go for the million points and one of them one the cruise!! It was exciting! They say someone wins an average of every two weeks.

I won the cruise in April when I was there with my sister. It was incredible!! Lots of streamers and such and "the crowd went wild"........They told me I was the 86th person to win since they started 3 years ago.

As of our trip they were up to 88 people....2 people won in one day during the week before our trip......I've never seen anybody win...

I hope one day we will see or be it...
