Will give a quick review of where we are on our trip from 12/26-12/31.
Teppan Edo- went here for lunch and I had the steak. I usually don't like Japanese but the steak was really good, it was fun having the entertainment and sitting with other people, and the sauces they give are also really good. Rating- 8
Chefs de France- went here for dinner and I had the steak. It was good but not great. My mom likes escargot and ordered it but said it was fishy and not edible. Atmosphere was nice.. we had a little table in a side room with windows and the room wasn't too loud. Rating- 5
Shulas- I had the prime rib in the lounge section- walked in without a reservation at like 5:30. The prime rib was delicious and the wedge salad was great. Service though was very very slow. On top of the slow service generally which we figured it was just the way it was there, it took 30 minutes for us to pay our bill after eating. The manager needed to approve our TIW card and we saw the server go to him at least 3 times to ask him to approve it and he still didnt. He didn't look that busy either... we didn't complain to our server because she was trying but we said after 30 minutes that we wanted to see the manager. He gave 50% off our bill but we really just wanted to get out quick and even after talking to him he didn't print our bill to speed anything up. Food was good but service wasn't. Rating-7
Whispering Canyon Cafe- we went for dinner and it was a lot of fun and had good food. My dad had the strip at shulas but thought whispering canyons steak was better. This is nice for entertainment while you eat. Rating- 7
California Grill- this was our favorite Restaurant we have eaten at at WDW. Filet was amazing- good sauce and side with potatoes/ onion and melted in your mouth. Ravioli was really good, flatbreads were good, and the chocolate pudding cake was the best dessert! We got a comfy booth with a view of the castle and it was a super nice meal. Combining atmosphere and food, my favorite restaurant anywhere (not just WDW) rating: 10
