At Old Towne? I am not really interested in a lot of "fru fru". Just a CLEAN suite that Isn't going to break our budget. We have tentatively reserved the Buena Vista suite but I found this one for almost 40% less.

Please Help me before I make a mistake one way or the other.

There is a reason it is 40% less. It isn't in a great neighborhood. Even though there are a ton of tourists around. We have stayed there once, many years ago, and it has only gotten worse since then. I would pay the extra and stay some place better.

Thank you! I don't want a dirty, run down, not safe hotel. One day I WILL stay onsite!

Our family of 6 stayed there in June of 2003. It was our second time staying there and I would do it again. I never felt unsafe and everything was clean. There was a problem with the sliding door exiting to the pool and it was fixed within an hour of our call. We payed $42 a night and I was pleased. It is not a deluxe hotel but a well worth value hotel. Plenty of room (625 sq.ft.) and lots of variety around the area.

i stayed there so i will give you 3 words
don't do it
too much to go into but trust me, if u like pm me and i can give you an ear or eyefull

We stayed there in November 2002. The suites are huge. The place is old but perfectly acceptable given the price. And its right next to Old Town which is a great place to spend a couple of hours in the evening.

We thought the place was a great bargain at the time. Would I stay there again? Not a chance. Why? Because we since discovered SkyAuction. This past November, we had a beautiful 2-bed, 2-bath unit for $261 for the week. We've also rented at Windsor Palms for not much more than Days Suites. No comparison between the two.

So I don't think Days Suites is all that bad but there are better deals.

We've stayed there twice & never had a problem with it. The suites are large & nice for a bigger family. We usually leave early in the morning, return late at night & fall asleep from exhaustion. We never noticed anything bad about it. we knew it wasn't going to be a fancy place, it was just want we expected. We never felt unsafe.

I would pretty much ditto everything Disneysteve said. We were there in 2001 and thought it was wonderful. But last year we stayed at Cypress Pointe for $66/night (up to $73 this year) and it puts Days Suites to shame. If you can get Days Suites for under $40/night I would go for it, otherwise I would look elsewhere. There are too many good deals in Orlando.

Don't stay there! It is really run down, dirty and not in a good neighborhood. In fact, a couple of weeks ago, the manager at the Checkers restaraunt next door was shot and killed in a robbery.
