Hello. We leave next week for a 5 day trip. I have a few questions that I was wondering if you fine people could help me with.

1. Is it faster to take Uber from resorts to parks or do the Disney transportation?

2. Are the ride times you see on the App accurate or are they inflated?

Thank you for the help.

Can't provide any insight on number 1. But for number 2, In my experience from last week, wait times are anywhere from fairly accurate to over estimated. We did not encounter any wait times that were longer than listed in the app. Many were less than listed. A few were pretty spot on (Tower of Terror in particular is usually pretty accurate).

Uber can be faster for some parks and especially faster for getting to dining at a resort other than where you are staying. Uber drops off at the TTC for the MK and you have to take the monorail or boat from there to the gate. But at HS, rideshares pick up and drop off near the Skyliner station.

Most wait times seem to be slightly inflated but you cannot count on the wait being shorter than the posted time.

I have thought about the Uber/Lyft scenario for my next trip. Does anyone have experience with it for mornings (getting there for rope drop) or leaving at night? I bet surge pricing may come into play at night? Thanks.

There have been reports that vehicular traffic has been held up at the parking lot gates until close to opening, giving those arriving by Disney transportation an advantage.

Good to know. I had been wary of busses, but I will be fully vaccinated by the trip now, so I am somewhat less concerned, though I will of course follow all guidelines still.

I haven't been on TPAS in so long, but, finally, FINALLY, a trip is in the works! :)

This is not true. They are coordinating all modes of transportation to arrive about the same moments.
