do you just talk about where and what type of shots you want?

There are a lot of things it's good to ask photographers and videographers, epecially as pertains to what's in the packages and what costs extra. Here are the photographer and videographer questions from the interview checklists in the PassPorter:

I'd also recommend asking any photographer to see a complete wedding that he/she has shot, not just the "good" images that make it on the blog/website. This will really give you a great idea of what kind of photos you will receive in their entirety...all 700+ of them!

Also, I wanted to reemphasize the "editing" question posed by lurkyloo. Some photographers do not include editing and some do...and there are many different styles and forms of editing so just be mindful of what you like!
