Questions Re: Tomorrowland Terrace Dessert Party

So this morning my 180 day window opened up, and I booked the Tomorrowland Terrace Dessert Party for the second day of our trip (so 181 days out). For that day, I was only given the choice of 9:00. However, I could swear that on another day different times were listed as being available (e.g., 8:15, 8:30). Was this a glitch or a figment of my imagination, of do the different time frames mean something? I was wondering if tables are still assigned based on the time the ADR was placed, or if earlier times are advantageous (e.g., would allow you to score a better table). If tables are still assigned, any thoughts on how good of a table I can expect to get reserving 181 days out during a time when crowd levels are predicted to be 5/10?

Thanks!

I was glad to get it.

Any thoughts on the type of seating I should expect?

Thanks!

I noticed that depending on the night of the week, the seating times varied. I booked mine at exactly 180 days for the night of the 14th (which is a MVMCP night and we have tickets) and our seating time is 8:35, with the fireworks being at 9:30. I'm not sure if other times were available after that, but as you know, it only spits out one time when you check. By the time I checked again two days later, there were no spots available that night. I DO know that when we went in 2010, we had an 8:30 time, and we were right up front by the railing. Hoping for the same this time.

Just show up when you feel like it. What would be the big deal...

I've never been, so I didn't know if they wouldn't let me in until 9:05 or if there would be a hassle.

I guess the time doesn't mean much?

I'm not sure about that. It's been a while, so things might have changed, but back in 2010, they weren't letting people in until right before their scheduled time. They told a lot of people to come back later instead of just hanging around waiting, but quite a few did just stand around waiting while some went and did other things. Hopefully someone who's been recently can give you an answer for sure!
