What airport do you land at to visit HH?
Does DVC have transportation to/from airport?

We fly into Savannah. No the resort does not offer transportation, but if you call the resort they can give you the numbers to a few different car services that you can arrange to have pick you up. We are using one next Sunday the price is $85 one way. Hope this helps you.

Yes, Savannah is the closest. But for us, at least, it's usually the most expensive by far to fly too. We often fly into Charleston and one to Jacksonville. Southwest flies into both those airports. From there, though, you'll definitely want to plan on renting a car. Charleston's about 2 1/2 hours away (in the rain) and Jacksonville's about 3 1/2 hours (at night). Consider renting a car-for meals, which you'll most likely need to drive to every day (since the resort only has one small CS) you'll be driving daily.

You may want to consider renting a car if you are staying more than a couple of days. You can walk to several of the restaurants but having transportation greatly enhances a HH stay.

Savannah (SAV) is the biggest local airport. There is an airport on the island (HHH) with 3 or 4 flights a day, but it also costs 2X any flight into SAV. No DME type transportation. The resort is right next to Shelter Cove, but not much else within walking distance. Renting a car is your best bet to get around. Charleston and Jacksonville are also flight options but are a minimum 2 - 2 1/2 hour drive north or south.
