Questions on donating room to GKTW?

We have thought about donating a room for a one night stay at OKW to GKTW, I saved a post from the boards with the info. I called today and spoke with Andrew Wilkins the director of HR, he told me that he would like to have the donation, he told me that he would like a room on the weekend! I informed him that the weekend points were much higher than the week days, he told me to go ahead anyway, make a reservation during the week then call him back.
I was given no specfic dates just make a reservation. I got the impression that the week days are not what they want! We don't have enough points remaining to give a Friday/Saturday! Don't they need rooms during the week?
I don't want to make a reservation, then call and find out that this is not a good day and have to start cancelling/changing dates! Has anyone done this recently? Has anyone run into this situation before?

Hi,

I was the one started the thread initially about donating points to them. Andrew gave me a bunch of dates (all weekdays) and I made a reservation, called him and gave him the date. When it got closer, he called and gave me the name of the people who will be staying there.

After the stay, I was given a donation acknowledgement along with a T-shirt and a video about their place.

Everything went well. The date that I donated was in last November.

They have many many families who can use these single nights to give the parents a break.
