Yes I'm asking about to pay for those documents also.
I live in Montreal , we do have notary here but they are really expensive and they dont know how to do that cause selling timeshares are illegal here.

Now I really dont know what to do to get my money, and I'm also thinking wy I have bought DVc If it cost me more $$ and cause me trouble to have them sold

Well, paper are ready for signatures so, I've call a notary, they charge me $40 that doesn't count the 13.5 % taxes, so ( by chance) I said no thanks . I call my bank, everybody who can sign are in vacation, I've call CAA they dont do that, I've call my court law office, they are not allowed to sign that kind of paper ( the buyer still waiting for the points!!), at school, every body are in vacation. I finaly found somebody at my office ,she accepts to sign my paper, and accepts to give me a copy of her certificate to proove her validities dates ( was not required). Last friday, I sent everything by express cost me $42.
Yesterday I receive a message from the closing co asking me to sent her certificate in english cause It's in french, of course, those documents are issued by our provincial Goverment, no english paper at all, wont be able to have it for sure.
Why is it so complicated for nothing ? my co-worker has the abilities to do what they asked for. I wont be able to have something like that in english for sure cause our provincial GVment paper are written in french, even lawers cant, even a juge cant...My god I think I have to go in Vermont and take the offer of sweetinmaine, hopefully this area is so beautifull.
By now I've sent a message to the closing company and I'm waiting, I'm not happy

What about going to a US consulate like someone else suggested. They will be able to help you.

I'm taking this moment to give you an update.

I went to the US ambassy in Montreal to have all my paper signed proberly and they charged me $50 per signature, so I needed 3 signatures, cost me $150 for a vice consul signature
Of course you know that at the cashier, no price shows on the website. So I was over there and ready to have everything signed and I know that the buyer is waiting for me and the paper,,, I've paied

Next time I will find somebody in Vermont for sure

At least it is over and done with and now the sale can be finalized.

I'm also a Montreal Canada DVC owner and was wondering if.....I were to cross the US border and go to a nearby US bank, would I be able to get my documents notarized there? Or does this have to be done in the area I am from? We are within a 45 mon drive to Plattsburgh NY and often go for day visits and fly out of Burlington Vermont.

For a while I was thinking about putting my DVC contract on re-sale and even asked Time share store about how to go about doing this....I have to admit that for us Canadians, (especially French Canadians) selling is Wayyyyy more complicated than buying.

I don't mind at all! All a notary is doing is verifying that the signer is who he/she says she is..that your identity has been proven.
