I asked this on the budget board, but thought I would try here as well. We need some good ideas for food to keep at the condo. We have a total of 10 people (6 adults and 4 children). Everyone will be on their own schedule ecept for a few planned events. Any ideas for quick and easy meals?

Also, I will be taking my 1 year old son (He will be one the day after we return home). What rides can I take him on with me? We have a four year old that wants to ride anything he is allowed to ride, so parent swap will be greatly used.

Any Birthday ideas for the one year old? Also G-pa who will be with us has a birthday that week. Is it too late to plan something. Whe did plan a fantasmic dinner package for his birthday. Will Hollywood & Vine do anything special.

Long post, but thanks for reading....

we stayed at a our in-laws timeshare/condo. We ate lot of salads, chicken, burgers and tuna fish. Cereal and fruit are great for the AM and yogurt always came in handy. A tip though - don't over buy too much food - you sometimes end up NOT eating at the condo as much as you think you will. And it's a real shame having to throw away the groceries you dodn't use.
Our kiddos were the same exact age as yours when we went - the baby swap helps - so does a stroller and a baby carrier (like a Bjorn) if your 1 yr. still fits in one. That way you can still carry the baby if the 4 yr old wants to ride in the stroller. You can take the baby on any ride that does not have a height restriction. You can go on most everything in Fantasyland, Pirates, and Buzz. There are more but those hit upon a few.
A fun birthday idea for the 1 yr old may be to get a haircut on mainstreet if he/she has enough hair and isn't too afraid ;) You could also get ice cream at DD. Have a great time! :earsboy:

The haircut sounds great. It would be his first and I had thought about doing that.

My DS does not fit into the Bonjor any more, but we do have a sit or stand stroller that my 4 yo can use even when DS is using it.

Thanks for the tips. I did not want to buy too much food because no one knows who will be back or when. No dinners are planned. I just want to have some things avalible.
